My Mate

Chapter 3

Terrence's p.o.v.

Why did I have to go out and help her? I was suppose to make her hate me. I'm sure I helped with the whole new maid thing.

  I couldn't help but rush out to her when she fell. Even my wolf wanted to go to her. I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair. I couldn't deal with this right now. I was alpha, and I wouldn't let this little mishap mess up my plan.

  I grabbed the keys to my black charger and rushed out of my room. As I neared the stairs I smelt vanilla. She was close by. I rushed to get to the front door not wanting to run into her.

  Wait what? Why was I running?

"Are you heading out sir?" I heard Jeremiah ask from behind me.

  "Yes." I replied turning around to face him.

  "When do you suppose you shall return?" he asked.

   "I'll be back by midnight." I said opening the door and slamming it behind me. I walked over to my charger and felt someone watching me. I looked up and saw the curtains in Makeena's room move.

Was she watching me? I just blew it off and got inside my car peeling down the driveway. I drove to a nightclub ready to release my anger.

  I pulled up and locked my car. I walked up to the club and cut through the line ignoring all the remarks as I made it to the security guard.

  He looked up at me and smiled. He was in his mid-twenties and his name was Frank.

"Hey bro' glad you could make it, again." he said smiling and shaking his head.

  Frank was one of the humans I could actually stand. We were friends in some ways. I walked inside the nightclub and sighed.

  It was dark but there were lights flashing on the dancefloor. I walked up to the bar and ordered the strongest drink on the menu.

   "Hey hot thing." I heard a girly voice say from my right. I looked over to spot Jessica. She was a pretty brown eyed blonde that was pretty good in bed too. I guess she would have to do. I had had quite a few drinks and was a little tipsy.

  "Want to get out of here?" I asked smiling. She just nodded and grabbed my hand pulling me towards the door. 'This isn't right, she's not our mate' my wolf said inside my head.

  I mentally told him to shutup. She led me to her car and I stopped her.

  "How about we go to my place?" I asked. She looked up at me and smiled flirting with me. She nodded her head as I walked towards my car. We got inside and I drove away.

  It was about eleven when we got to my house. I quickly got out of the car and we rushed to get up to my room. We had only made it to the top of the stairs when she pushed me up against a wall and started attacking my lips with hers.

  I gave in and kissed her back. 'Stop' my wolf growled. I ignored him. I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her deeply. But it just didn't feel right.

  I heard a gasp from my left and turned to see Makeena standing there staring at us. I thought she would have been asleep by now. Her eyes filled with tears and hurt covered her beautiful features.

  "S-Sorry for interrupting." she said but her voice cracked at the end.

  I watched as she turned around and raced to her bedroom. I pushed Jessica off of me.

"You need to leave." I said. Her eyebrows furrowed together.

  "What, why?" She asked.
