Chapter 19

~Makeena~

  I jumped slightly as I heard another loud crash come from down stairs. What the hell was going on?

   'Help mate.' my wolf growled. 'We can't remember he told us to stay.' I responded.

   Another round of crashes were heard from down below followed by shouts. Shouts that sounded just like Terrence. Before I could think I jumped on the doorknob trying to open it. The fucking thing was locked from the outside.

   He knew I wasn't going to stay. I backed up and put my hands on my head. I looked at the girls and their eyes were wide. I heard Terrence shout something again and didn't care about my own safety anymore. All I cared about was Terrence.

   I rushed forward and kicked the door as hard I could causing it to rattle and fall off it's hinges. The door landed in the hallway with a loud crack. I looked at the girls, who were already up and making their way towards me and the open doorway. Terrence is so gonna kill me. I thought as I rushed to the top of the stairs and gasped.

   The door was hanging open and the windows were all broken. I walked down the stairs and peered into the living room. The couch was broken in half with one half to the right and the other to the left. All the furniture was broken and scattered around the room. Pieces of the shattered windows littered the ground.

   I walked back to the front door to find the girls standing there with wide eyes. I rushed over and gasped. Sprawled across the front lawn were werewolves fighting each other. I noticed Terrence's black wolf fighting a dark brown wolf. He had the upper hand. James's wolf was fighting another wolf as well. He was winning. Sam's wolf was in a fight as well and he was also winning. Looks like Luke didn't prepare his troops. My gaze wandered to Aaron.

  He wasn't a werewolf so he was still in his normal vampire self. A werewolf was walking slowly towards him. He bent down and got in a fighting position.

   "Come on puppy." he said and I could practically hear his smirk. At his words the wolf growled and launched forward. Aaron stepped to the side and the wolf flew onto the ground. Aaron jumped up on his back and wrapped his arm around the wolf's torso. He squeezed as hard as he could and a loud crack filled the night air as the wolf went limp under Aaron. I stared in awe at Aaron.

   He quickly got up and his eyes snapped to mine. Our eyes locked for a second before he turned around and ran towards another wolf.

   I looked at Sofia and Darcy to find them both shaking slightly, which meant they were close to shifting.

   "Are you sure?" I asked. I didn't need to explain any further as they both nodded. Bones cracking filled the air as Sofia and Darcy both changed into their wolves.

   I watched as they charged onto the battlefield, a.k.a. out front lawn. I quickly shifted until my brown wolf and charged onto the battlefield as well. I locked eyes with Terrence who had stopped fighting.

   'What the hell are you doing here?' he asked through mind link.

   "I'm fighting, watch your back.' I said as a wolf charged at Terrence. He whipped around and charged into battle with the oncoming attacker.

   I turned to see that Luke's team was outnumbered. Luke also seemed to notice this as his wolf looked frightened. He spotted me and started towards me. I growled fiercely and bared my teeth at him. He stopped for a second before continuing onward. He stopped a few feet from me and I took that as my chance. I launched forward, catching him off guard and tackled him to the ground. He snarled and started snapping his teeth at me. I snarled back and bit into his shoulder. He whimpered loudly and I bit down even harder. He whimpered loudly before jumping up and throwing me across the yard. I landed on a tree and slowly slid down it and landed on the ground with a soft thump.

   I looked up and locked eyes with Terrence who was shaking with anger. Luke howled a cry of defeat and all his werewolves took to the forest. I quickly got onto my paws and shifted back to my human form, as did everyone else. I quickly looked away as the guys put on shorts. Terrence ran over to me and hugged me tightly. I sighed against his embrace.

   We made it into the house and looked at all the damage.

   "Damn Makeena, you sure showed him." Aaron said smiling. I smiled back and shrugged as if it was nothing. I turned to Terrence who smiled down at me.

   "Time to clean." he said smirking.
