It was my first day of school, my first day as a "high school Junior" that's what my mom was going on and crying about. I don't even wanna know how bad she'll cry when I graduate, I can see it now... Yikes.
I was standing in front of my open closet door, scanning my band shirt choices with a towel wrapped around my body.
I grabbed a Black Veil Brides tank top, a red flannel, and black converse from the floor. I walked over to my dresser, I grabbed black pants from a drawer.
I look at myself in my mirror, shifting my face closer to the mirror to put on some eyeliner and mascara, I look at my phone while I plug in the hair dryer, I have pretty short hair...
6:30, good timing so far, Alex.
I put on all my clothes, I walk over to my floor mirror and look at myself.
"Eh... I guess I'm presentable" I say to myself.
I grab my backpack and leave my room.
"Hey, ma! I'm leaving for school!" I yell, but without a answer back I leave the house, closing the front door behind me.
I have to go pick up Alice first, then school.
I open my car door and throw my backpack in the passenger seat.
"Did I get everything?" I mumble to myself.
I tap my back pocked, I got my phone. I look in my hand, keys. Okay... I guess I'm ready...
I get in my car and close the door. I start the car and put on 'We don't believe what's on TV'.
I pull up to Alice's house just to see her walk out her door and wave her mom goodbye.
As she approaches my car I realize her bracelets. Fuck, that's what I forgot...
She opens the passenger side door and moves my backpack to the floor before she sits down and closes the door.
"Hey I forgot my bracelets, so we gotta run back to my house real quick."
Alice: "Wow, Alex, forget everything?" she laughs.
"Ha, very funny" I say looking at the time on my phone. 7:03, okay we got enough time.
I get to my house and I open my door and run inside to my room, I grab all the bracelets on my dresser and run back outside as fast as I can. Maybe I grabbed just a little to much?
I start putting on my bracelets. TOP, BVB, BOTDF, PTV, P!ATD, BMTH, and MCR.
Alice: "Wow, you grabbed a lot" she laughs.
"Could never have enough" I smile back.
I leave the driveway and we jam out to Bring Me The Horizon all the way to school.
When we pull up Alice's boyfriend is already there... ugh...
I take my key out the ignition and get out the car.
Alice and I walk to Nathaniel and she hands me my backpack...
"Thanks..." I mumble.
"Hey fucker" I say to Nathaniel.
Nathaniel: "Fuck you!" he laughs.
"Fuck you too!" I yell.
I walk away, not out of anger, but annoyance.
I go sit next to a tree and grab a book out my backpack. I start reading, but stop when I hear a guitar playing. I look around, nobody seemed like they even heard it.
