"I didn't think it'd be this tiring." I admit, sitting next to Willamina and taking her hand. "What?" She laughs. "Raising a kid?" I shake my head, rubbing my face. "No, waiting for the little thing to get home. We told her to be home three hours ago."

"She's sixteen, Dominic." Mina laughs again. "She's going to be late because that's what teenagers do." I shake my head again, lifting her hand to kiss it. Out of instinct she scoots over to me, cuddling into my side. We hear the door open and slam shut, then our beautiful daughter comes walking through the dark house.

"Walking" meaning she can't fucking walk because she's too drunk. "Rose!" Mina and I both yell at the same time. She screams, dropping her heels, and falling to the floor. "What the hell!" She yells in slurred words. "You two could have killed me!"

"You're lucky we don't!" I call back. She stands, picking up her shoes, and turning on the lights. Her hair is messed up, her eyes are redder than hell, the outfit that she left in is in her hands, now she's wearing a skimpy dress. "Great! You're on drugs too!" I say, probably over dramatically.

Mina stands with a look on her face that I haven't seen in years. Instantly Rose and I go quiet. "What are you wearing?" She asks calmly, walking over to our daughter that looks exactly like her. "M-my dress." Rosaline stutters. Mina takes time to look over her seemingly screwed up reflection.

"Why are your eyes red?" Mina begins walking around her. I feel as nervous as Rose looks. "I was smoking pot, momma." Rose answers, looking at her bare feet. "Are those my heels?" At this point I'm sure Rose has sobered up and is ready to get killed by her mother.

"Yes, momma." She answers again. "Are you drunk?" Mina finally stops in front of Rose. "Yes," Mina nods, turning and walking to me. I instantly wrap my arm around her shoulders, kissing her forehead. "Phone, laptop, tablet, TV, and you're grounded for two months." Mina declares.

"I don't want to hear anything from either of you, I've been letting this happen for far too long. Your father and I never acted like this." I watch Rose nod and walk to her room. Within minutes she's handing all the electronics over to Mina and I, except for the TV since she doesn't have one in her room. Also, I'm too lazy to carry around a TV. Who even does that??

"Take these," Mina tells Rose while walking into the kitchen. I hear her open a pill bottle and fill a glass with water. I give Rose a look of 'You're fucked' just before Mina walks back into the room. Rose complies to taking the pills then hands the cup back. "Take a shower and straight to bed."

"Yes, momma." Rose says softly while kissing both of our cheeks. "Love you guys." We say I love you back and watch as she walks to her room. "I'm going to kill her in the morning." Mina whispers.

"Good morning, dear." I greet Mina as she walks tiredly into the kitchen. "Ooh, what are you making?" She asks, referring to breakfast. "Bacon, toast, and eggs, also there's some coffee." I reply, getting a cup and pouring her some. Bringing it over to her, I gently kiss her lips. "I'll get you a plate in a second."

"Thank you, baby." She takes a sip of her coffee. A few minutes after I serve her her food, Rosaline walks down the stairs and into the kitchen. "Morning." She groans, sitting next to Mina. "You need to eat breakfast and go to school." Mina says right away.

"I'm hungover, can't I miss one day?" She pleads. "Stop back talking your mother, it's your fault that you're hungover. Also if you miss one day you'll be expelled from your school." I reply to her. She immediately groans. "I didn't ask to go to a private school!"

"Quit it!" Mina yells. Rosaline shuts her mouth and waits to receive her breakfast. "Who even throws a party on a Tuesday?" I mutter to myself. "Dominic, please don't give her any ideas." I nod to my beautiful wife.

"I don't understand why you have go against us, Rose. We've tried so hard to teach you differently." Willamina says tiredly. Rosaline doesn't say anything but she continues to eat the food I've just put in front of her. After filling a glass, I place orange juice in front of her as well.

Nothing else is said until Rose is her uniform and I'm getting ready to drop her off at school. "We're leaving, darling." I call upstairs to Mina. "Okay, hurry back, we need to go to work." She says back. I guide Rose to my car. After we're in it she turns to me.

"When can I get my own car?" She asks as I buckle up. "When are you going to get a job to buy one?" She rolls her eyes and slams her bag into the floor. "You're supposed to buy me one first!" She yells, buckling up as well.

"Rosaline, I will not do anything for you other than provide the things you need. The rest you need to work for." I reply in a calm voice. "But dad." She whines. "Rosaline!" I raise my voice causing her to flinch. "You have constantly defiled your mother and I and we're sick of it. You need to get your act together!"

"Okay, dad." She says softly. "I'll do better." I nod, grabbing her hand. "We still love you, Rose. We always will, we just want better for you." She gives my hand a squeeze as we pull into the lot of her school. I let go and park so she can get out. Just before she gets out she leans over and kisses my cheek. "I love you."

"Love you too, honey." I reply. I watch as she walks up to a group of boys and girls, hugging most of them before waving me off. I begin driving back home to Mina.

We've moved houses, I still own the mafia house but we don't live there. We live in a normal suburban home but Mina and I work at the other house. Rosaline knows very little about the mafia because that's how Mina wanted it to be. We try to be normal parents, but sometimes it becomes a problem.

*Rosaline*

"So did you get in trouble?" Tracey asks, rushing me to our lockers. "Yeah, a lot." I reply coldly. "Don't be mad." She whines as I open my locker. "You got me in trouble because you wanted to do something stupid!" I whisper-yell at her. "I just wanted to hook up with Jason. I needed my best friend there."

"Yeah well you got everything of mine taken away and I'm grounded for two months. Are you still happy that you got dick?" Tracey lets a small smile form on her face. "Well he was kind of big..." She says, now grinning. I slam my locker shut and immediately turn around to walk to class.

"Rose." She calls but I ignore her. "Hey, Rose." Dally greets, walking up next to me. "Hey, Dally." I smile. His name is actually Dalton, but Dally is the nickname I gave him. "Do you want to go out sometime? Maybe get some food and watch a movie?"

"Sure." I smile until I remember that I'm grounded. "Wait." I say while sitting in my desk, he sits in his next to me. "I'm grounded." I groan. He smiles, squeezing my arm. "Well ask if I can come over to have dinner with your parents." I smile widely at that. "I'll let you know what they say." I reply as he writes down his number and gives it to me.

"Stop talking and start listening!" Mrs. Gilmore aka Satan yells. I hate her so much.
