*Cassie's P.O.V:* I debate on whether or not to believe Oli. If I lose the ability to talk I can't film anymore, I can't answer questions in class, I can't go to college, I won't be able to call Brudo to get his attention, and worst of all I won't be able to tell Oli I love him. I mouth the words "I love you" to Oli. "I love you too." He says in my ear. At that moment I know everything will be ok. Oli will love me no matter what. Brudo will come to me no matter what. I can still go to school no matter what. I can film no matter what. I hug Oli tightly. "Lizzie, Joel I'm gonna take Cassie to the hotel ok?" Oli asks. "Ok. Bye Oli be careful." They say. I walk with Oli to the car. Once I get in I get on my phone. I go and tweet:hey guys I learned that I have a 50/50 chance of ever talking again. But don't worry if I end up not being able to talk I will still record. I will just have someone else speak. Maybe my new boyfriend the Orion Sound?! Ok well enough updates bye now my witches owls!: I finish tweeting and lay my head on Oli's arm. I fall asleep. I dream about both me talking and never talking again. After that we make it to the hotel and Oli shook me awake. I wake up in the car then look at Oli. His eyes have a sense of fear, anger, and happiness. I look at him confused until he finally gets out. I get out as well. I walk beside him into the room. I sit with him on the bed and wait for him to talk. It takes a few minutes before he talks though. "Cassie. I had fear in my eyes cause I fear for you to never talk again. I had anger cause I'm mad that if you could never talk again then you could never talk to me again. And I was happy because I was looking at you." He said. I stare at him wishing I could talk but I can't. So instead of talking I hug him as tight as I can. At that moment mum texts me. "M-mum ,C-Cassie"M-hey cassie the doctor said she wanted us to go back to her tomorrow.
C-why mum
M- So she can run one more test.
C- is it so she can determine if I will ever get my voice back.
M-yes.
C-Can't we go today?
M- I guess I could ask
*5 minutes later*
M-She said we could come now so have Oli bring you to vid con so I can take you.
C-ok. Bye mum
M-bye see you soon.
*end of texts*
I tell Oli to come get in the car and he does. He drives me to vid con and I go to see mum. Oli asks why he can't go and mum tells him that we would tell everything that happened later. Me and mum get in the car then head to see the doctor. After a 20 minute silence we arrive. I walk no run inside and mum follows. We reach our doctor's office and walk inside. "Hello Ms.Shadow and Cassie." She says. "Hello doctor Erin." Mum says. "Are you ready Cassie?" Doctor Erin asks. I nod my head yes and she takes me into a room. She then takes a flashlight and looks down my throat. After that she writes something down and then lays me on a table. After that is all a blur. There were lights that she said were scanning my throat. Once that is over I am aloud to go out of the room she took me into. She said she had to finish looking at the scan and then she would have the results. Me and mum wait for her for almost an hour or two before she comes out. What she says next makes me excited then I realize what she said. I mistakenly heard will and not won't. I stay strong until mum and me get into the car. Then I have a mental breakdown. I cry then go silent and stare out the window. "C-Ca-Cassie are yo-" mum says when I wave my hand. She stays silent the rest of the ride. We get back to vidcon and find everyone waiting outside for the news. I walk over to Oli and dad who are standing beside each other while mom tells them the news. "Cassie will from now on not be able to talk. When she fainted that day her body started to decay in her throat since her body started to die. So once she woke back up her vocal cords had been decayed so she couldn't speak any longer." Mum tells them. Oli looks down at me and I nod. He pulls me close and I hug him. I wish this moment could last forever but it can't. So I let go and text mum asking if we can go back to the hotel and she says yes. We get into the cars and drive back. Oli is silent the whole ride and I don't mind. Once we get to the hotel I climb the stairs to the roof. Once I make it to the top I sit down and think. I don't think about anything special but I think. I take out my phone and download a app that allows you to take a recording of your voice if you once had one and analyzes it so it will speak like that. I take my voice from one of my videos and upload it. After that I type Brudo and it says Brudo the way I sound. I "can" talk I guess. After messing around with the app I put my phone beside me and go back to thinking. About an hour later someone walks onto the roof. I type in the words I want the app to say and it says"what do you want Oli?" "Wait first off you can talk?! And second how did you know it was me?" He asks. I wave my phone above my head after typing in for it to say "Oli it is a speaking app." "Oh that makes more sense."he says. Again I ask what he wants. (From now on when she is speaking it will always be with the app. I don't have time to type "and I type into the app to say..." constantly. Ain't nobody got time for that!) "I wanted to know if I could talk to you." He says. " umm Oli can I please be alone still it is just kinda hard to have to take in that I can't talk ever again?" I ask. "Can I please just talk to you?" He asks. " Fine Oliver what do you need?" I ask. "I wanted you to know that I will always be there for you." He says." Oli I know you will you don't have to tell me." I reply. "Oli I know you will always be there for me and I will always be there for you."I say." Oli I love you it's just so much has happened in the past week my mind is all scattered." I tell him." Cassie I love you too and I know that a lot has happened but I also know that you are strong enough to put your mind back together." Oli says. I smile and get up. I walk over to him and hug him. I then walk downstairs and grab my video supplies. I go outside and to the back of the hotel. I set up my camera and press record. "Hi my witches owls I see you notice that I'm not moving my mouth. That is because I can't talk anymore. The other day at vid con I had a mental break down so bad that when I passed out my body had started to die off. So my vocal cords were and are ruined. I have to use my phone and a app that allows me to type the stuff I want to say. And it will say it. I am not sponsored by this app. I found it on my own and it is awesome. Anyway I now have a boyfriend and everything is fine. I know from my latest tweet you would know who it is but if you don't it is Oli aka the OrionSound. This is just supposed to be a quick update so bye for now my witches owls!" I say then stop recording. I run inside and edit and upload the video to my blog channel. Once I am done uploading I go to find Oli. I don't know where he went after I ran to go film. I go knock on the boy's room door and ask but he is not in there. I go outside and look in the area I usually walk Brudo. Not there. I go look on the room and he is not there. I go check in the girl's room and be is not there. I am really nervous at this point and I call him. No answer. I go and ask the staff is they have seen him. They ask me what he looks like and I tell them. They say no. I go back to the girl's room and ask mum if she has seen Oli. And again a no. See any normal person by now would call the police but I'm not normal. I get Brudo out of his crate and put him on a leash. I go up to the room and just check once more and see if he is up there. No. Except I see his panda hat. Umm Oli would never leave his panda hat anywhere. I pick it up and feel something in it. I look in and see a note. It says:"hi our lovely daughter we have got in touch with your boyfriend and he has came with us. We are at 123 bridge wood ave. (not a real address) if you want to see him please come and alone. Bye bye now. We hope to see you soon." I can't believe they did that! I swear I am gonna kill them if the lay a hand on Oli. I run to my room and show the note to everyone. "OMG..." Mum says.
