Atsuko Kagari, otherwise known as Akko, was having the best dream she could ever have. It was of the time she saw her all time favorite role model, the magician Shiny Chariot.
Shiny Chariot flew through the air, as a Minotaur, doing flips and shooting arrows at the bad guys. Akko cheered along with the crowd, gasping at the right times too. She was jumping for joy in her seat. "Ahahahahh!" She laughed. "Mommy! Mommy! I want to be like Chariot when I grow up! Go to her school and everything!" Akko said, tugging on her mom's sleeve.
"Alright. Anything for my little star." Mrs. Kagari said. Akko cheered, and faced the front, wanting to see her idol one more time.
"Alright! That's all for now. Always remember, a believing heart is your magic!" Fireworks blew behind her as she was standing her broom, holding the shiny arc in her hand, and her clothes and hat swaying with the wind, floating down to the stage. This is where her memory fades, and her dream began.
Akko pulled her mother and father to the ever growing line to meet Shiny Chariot. Her mother frowned.
"Oh dear, it seems quite long. Maybe next time Akko." Her father reluctantly agreed.
"Ahooo! But," Akko whined. "this will be my only chance!" The 6 year old yelled.
"We're sorry dear." The older Kagari's pulled the younger away, as she deflated.
"Hey, you have a little time." Akko jumped and turned around, recognizing that the voice belonged to no other than, Shiny Chariot. "Why not stay until I finish talking to her, if that is fine with you..." She trailed off, waiting to hear their last name.
"Kagari! Atsuko Kagari!" Chariot giggled at Akko's excitement.
"Mr. and Mrs. Kagari, is that fine with you?" The redhead asked.
"If course it is." They replied in unison.
"Anything for our little girl." And with that, Akko and Chariot took pictures and talked about everything they could think of.
"Shiny Chariot. What schools did you go to?" Akko asked, her curiosity spiking, and her courage helped her ask.
Chariot looked at the brown haired girl with sparkles in her pink eyes. She smiled widely before replying.
"Well. My high school helped me achieve this, and the name was-" Chariot was cut off as Akko woke up from her mother turning on the lights.
"Morning dear, ready for your first day of high school?" Her mother smiled warmly, as Akko nodded. "The name was Luna Nova, right? Now hurry, you don't want to be late." Akko's mother walked out as Akko got ready for her big day.
"I can't wait! This is the school Shiny Chariot went to!" Akko's mind cried with joy.
A little while later, Akko was was done packing up, and headed to where her parents were.
"Mom, dad, I'm gonna miss you." They all hugged as they cried. They weren't gonna see each other until the annual breaks for the holidays or what the school held as breaks.
"I wish it didn't have dorms, but if they didn't, you would be late every day. Now go, we will miss you, but you can't be late either." Akko waved goodbye as she left the house and headed to the train stop, and boarded her train to Shiny Chariot's high school, Luna Nova.
And what she didn't know, was that school will change her life forever.
