Beam nervously unlatched the hook to his door to fully face the young detective.
For a minute there, he thought he knew the detective but then maybe, he was just a passing face.
"Are you Beam Baramee?" the young detective asked.
"What do you want?" Beam harshly replied.
"No need to be rude there, mister. I just want to talk." the young detective tried pacifying Beam's anger.
"Talks from you would usually lead to an arrest, so just spit it. Don't bullshit me, detective."
Oohhh, this one is a spitfire. the young detective silently snickered.
"Your boss, Mr. Gu sent me here. He told me to talk to you." the detective took a notepad from his back pocket and a black standard pen from his breast pocket.
"Why?" Beam scrunched his forehead. Thinking of reasons why his boss would send this pesky detective his way.
"Drugs." was the detective's short reply.
Beam turned pale, like a deer caught in the headlights. Forth did not miss a single facial reaction from this rascal. Got you!
Fuck. was all Beam can think about. "What about it? I don't sell drugs if that's what you want to know. Heck, I barely use drugs anymore." Beam immediately defended.
"Really now?" the detective mocked.
Beam just let out a frustrated huff. He just wants to end this now. The detective took a small orange container from his slack pocket.
Is this guy Doraemon? Beam thought. He is beyond annoyed now.
"Pee here and we'll see." the detective offered the container fully expecting Beam to not accept it.
"Fuck you!" Beam spattered. "I won't be peeing there. I won't be peeing period."
"Why? Are you scared?" the detective replied. "Anyways, your boss is currently rumored to be running a drug cartel in this area. We are doing a close investigation on him and his husband, including all the people around him. You may just be a roach on his high pyramid but we're not taking anyone for granted."
"Mr. Gu and Mr. Yin are decent businessmen. Whatever you have on them are false." Beam defended his employers.
"Then it wouldn't be too difficult for you to pee in this bottle. You know, just a little proof that you and your bosses aren't related to drugs." the young detective continued.
"Like I said, I don't want to! And you barging here without even telling your name! What kind of shameless cop are you?!" Beam is red faced now. Anxiety and anger obviously reflecting on his face.
The young detective felt a bit ashamed and like an unknown force wants his hand to put it on the other person's cheek and just comfort him.
What a lovely teddy bear. And for a second there he wanted to do just that but being in the police force, he is able to practice restraint and stop that line of thought but he kept that for future reference.
I am certainly going to enjoy this. were his last thoughts.

[A/N] Yeah, so there you go! It's been a year again and I deeply apologize because I've been neglecting this story. I am working at home now and got all the time in the world so I can definitely continue this story now.
Yeah, this is still based from the first season of 2 Moons, I tried watching the first episode with the new casts but I just can't help but compare it to the first one. I'll try to give it a shot again but not today.
