~Wylie's POV~
We walk along the sandy beach occasionally throwing a stick for Macy and Eli. Nash is still soaking wet but he doesn't really seem to mind. "How long have you lived here?" Cameron asks curiously.
"About two years," I say.
"Okay, so aren't like one of those California girls then right?" Nash asks smirking.
"It depends on what your definition of a California girl is," I smirk back. It's weird how easy it is for me to talk to them.
"Cindy lets go to Starbucks I really need an Instagram pic for today," Cameron begins talking in a Valley girl voice.
"Are you kidding, Trisha Jamba Juice is so much more hipster!" Nash mocks the same voice. I giggle quietly at how adorable they are.
"No I don't think I'm that way, I'm originally from Chicago so I love Jamba Juice and Starbucks equally, although coffee makes me super hyper and the last time I drank it was when I was nine and I blacked out. I was in a hotel for a birthday party and I ran to the lobby and tried to break into the water park at 3 in the morning." I sigh. Cameron and Nash exchange a look then crack up, "It's not funny!" I say trying not to smile. It actually happened, and at the time no one laughed my parents were so mad at me. Thinking about it more, I guess it's pretty funny. I close my eyes and cover my face with my hands laughing into them. It took seven years to let to be funny, but if it makes these guys laugh I suppose it's worth it.
"Why did you move here?" Cameron asks again.
I can't tell them the truth, we having such a nice time. Laughing, hanging out, if I tell them they're dead and I live alone they'll think I'm some freak. Like everyone else at my school. I bite my lip thinking quickly, "Uh my mom and dad were offered these jobs and we just kind of moved. They are always traveling though so I'm always..." I trail off. Lying comes pretty easy for me, helps me shut people out and keep them that way. Also being an actress and all kind of helps me being good at it.
"Alone," Nash finishes for me.
"Yeah, but I don't really mind. It's kind of nice not to be told what to do all the time. I think you'll enjoy it," I smile. They both chuckle a little bit and look at me in the same daring yet awkward way. I hold Nash's the best though, his eyes are so paralyzing. I feel lost in them and he knows exactly where to go but doesn't tell me so he can keep me there. I don't mind. I break the gaze to see look at the beautiful dusk sky.
"Where do you go to school?" Nash asks.
"Crenshaw High, today was our last day before break," I inform them, "Are you going there next year?" I ask, hoping not for some reason. I don't know it would be nice to have a friend there, I doubt he would be friends with me if he knew I was a loser. That's why I don't want him to go there.
"No I'm taking classes online and stuff."
"And I hate school I don't go to college. I mean I already have a job that I love and I make money so why do I need school." He has a point, he doesn't need school. He didn't even need it to get to the place he's at now. Why can't I be famous? I nod in agreement.
"My brother says you're a youtuber," Nash says suddenly.
"You mean Hayes?" I ask, "Yeah I do but not like famous or anything." I say.
"What's your Channel name?" Cameron asks.
"What are you going to stalker me," I smirk.
"Well I can't without your name," he says shrugging.
"I'm just Wylie Lane on basically everything," I say.
"Hey, Wylie," Nash says as we approach my house, "We're going out tonight with some friends if you want to come with us," He asks sincerely. I give him a small smile. I can't. Go out? With People? I don't do that. I should get some sleep anyways I have a photo shoot tomorrow and I have to be at my dance studio by 6 am.
"I-I can't, but thanks." I say turning away back to the house, I unlocked the back door before I left so I won't have to climb into the house.
"Oh okay," he says frowning.
"Goodnight!" they both call after leaving me. I see them walk into the house through the back door. A car pulls up to the front of the house and just as quickly as they came they jump out the front door and into the car. It drives away leaving me alone, like always.
~Nash's POV~
"I found Wylie," Cam says smiling down at his phone.
"Who's Wylie," Lindsay asks leaning up against the railing next to me. We are at some party at another beach house like ours and it's crawling with kids and music blares from inside I'm out on a balcony with Cam, Lindsay and Morgan. Mahogany is here too but she doesn't really like Lindsay and Morgan so she's somewhere else. I really wish Wylie would have come with us.
"Our neighbor," I say looking onto Cam's phone. I see a bunch of pictures of her, Instagram. She has 100,000 followers. Not bad. It's mostly just pictures of her or her pets or fashion or landscapes.
"Does she not have any friends?" Lindsay says pulling the words out of my thoughts. She chuckles at her own joke. I roll my eyes and take out my phone to look her up on instagram. She's so beautiful, there's a picture of her with makeup on and...Wow. I'm speechless I thought she was gorgeous without make up and I think she's a dancer or something. I go on youtube and search her. She is a dancer.
"Check this out," I tap on Cam's shoulder. She's good I think, she reminds me of Amymarie. That dancer on Vine. But prettier. I'm not going to lie, she has an amazing body. Every time she jumps or turns you can see it perfectly. That sounds really perverted.
"Oh c'mon, she's not even pretty," Lindsay rolls her eyes.
"Just because she doesn't pile on makeup like you doesn't mean she isn't pretty," Cameron mumbles.
"What?" she asks annoyed.
"Nothing," Cameron and I start laughing. She scoffs and walks away with Morgan. "Dibs." he says looking up at me.
"On what?" I ask confused.
"Wylie," he smiles.
"Wylie?" I hear Mahogany come in to the conversation.
"What?" I almost shout, "That's not fair, what if I want a chance with her? You're too old for her anyways, how do you even know that she likes you. You've barley talked to her. You think you can go out with her all the sudden? Well maybe I'll go for her too and then we'll see who she picks." I say.
"Dude, calm down I was kidding," he starts laughing at me a little.
"Who's Wylie?" Mahogany asks again.
"Yeah me too," I say trying to play it off cool.
"What's going on?" she asks.
"Nash has a crush on our neighbor," Cameron says smirking.
"I do not," I say rolling my eyes.
"Who?!?" Mahogany nearly screams.
"Wylie Lane," I say a little too quickly.
"Oh I know her she's a youtuber right?" She asks, "She's Pacsun's new model!" she shouts.
"What?" I ask confused.
"She's like this model, I've seen her do something for a long board company or Zummies or something like that," she clears.
"She's a model?" Cam asks. Mahogany nods.
"Yeah really good, my friend shot pictures of her last year. They should be on his instagram..." she types in his account and up pops breathtaking photos of Wylie. Honestly she is...I can't find I good enough word.
Throughout the whole party all I thought about was, when can I see Wylie next?
