Chapter 9

Davhie's p.o.v

"I still think you should go Luke" I said.

"Luke please we don't want you here." Mel Bel said.

"Ok fine. But take this letter. Please. Read it." he said. He handed me a letter and walked out. Mel Bel just stared at him in discuss. It was quite for a little.

"Are you gonna read it?" Mel Bel asked braking the sclince.

"Maybe tonight. Before I fall a sleep." I said.

"Ok." Mel Bel said. She looked down at he lap. "Sorry I went off on Luke."

"No don't be sorry! I'm glad you did." I said. She looked up at me and I smiled at her. She smiled back.

"I'm gonna get some rest. I'll see you later I guess." she said.

"Ok I might too." I said. She went over to her room so I started to close my eyes.

BUZZZ

It was Jayy. He sent me the final and last recording of the song. I plugged in my ear buds that were laying at my hip into my phone and listened to it. I tried not to burst into tears listening to it but I think I let few slip. When it finished I unplugged my ear buds and put them by my hip again.

I put my hand on my cheek and felt that it was wet. I wiped them off as I laid my phone back down. I think that's better than any song I've ever wrote. Or maybe it was just the meaning behind it that really got to me.

I looked hard at that note and really though about reading it but something told me to wait. I hid it under my pillow and laid my head down.

I got really tired. So I calmed down a little and closed my eyes. I felt myself drift off and soon enough I was out.

~45 MINUTES LATER~

Melissa's p.o.v

**dream**

The sky was as clear as the water that surrounded my bare feet as I stood in the sea. I took a deep breath in and smelled the fresh sea and sand. Seagulls flew above me and the sun was just setting. The sky looked like a painting of blue, orange, yellow, and a little red. I wasn't sure were I was but, it was peaceful. Suddenly Davhie came up to me.

"MEL BEL YOU COMEIN'?" he yelled.

"YAH!" I replied.

I ran, still barefoot, a crossed the cool sand till I ended in a grassy area only feet away from the beach. I finally see Jayy with his adorable smile and a smile back.

"You look beautiful!" he said eyes sparkling.

"Thank you. You look quite handsome yourself." I said. I didn't even know what I was wearing. I looked down at myself to see I was wearing a plan white v-neck tee shirt with a black tank underneath it, along with a white skirt that faded to black. The skirt was short in front and long in the back. Not anything I normally wear but Jayy seemed to like it.

Jayy was wearing a button up shirt that was unbuttoned all the way, with nothing underneath. It was black with blue flowers and he wore tan shorts.

"I have something for you." he said putting a pink flower in my hair.

"It's beautiful!" I said.

"A beautiful flower for my beautiful girl." he said smiling. I felt myself blush a little as I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him. He kissed me back, holding me around my back. Finally I pulled away.

"Are you hungry?" Jayy asked.

"Yeah. A little." I said. I grabbed food and we sat at the table where we talked and laughed until we though we were gonna pass out. By the time I finished my food, it was already dark. At the end we all went around the bonfire and sang songs, then everyone left. Accept Jayy and I, we stayed a little. We walked a crossed the shore as we kicked water at each other and laughing. At the end of the shore were big rocks that fell from a cliff above. Jayy and I sat on one of them when he pulled his guitar out.

"I wrote this for you." he said smiling.

Then Jayy, along with everything else, disappeared.

***dream ended***

My eyes felt like rocks as I tried to open them.

Wow. If only dreams came true.

I looked around to see if anyone was in my room. No one was around. I checked my phone a got a text from Jayy. I smiled as I read it.

"Hey babe sorry I can't be there :)" he texted.

"I'll be fine! I get out tomorrow." I said.

But then something hit me. I put down my phone and thought hard.

Could Jayy be writing me a song?

I put the though aside when my parents walked in.

I know it was short and it sucks but I want to have the day they get out of the hospital all in one chapter (maybe two if I have to.)

For the next chapter Jayy sings his song. (Maybe.)
