Chapter 3 | Making New Friends

                MAKING NEW FRIENDS

/2 Months Later/

I wake up to my phone ringing on a Monday morning at 7:00. What. The. Jfaofujaidjfskosd. It is too early for this and why are people awake at this hour.

I answer my phone saying, "Hello?" Groggily. I hear a chuckle and some chatter in the background before someone responds. "This is Rilee Valentine, right? We saw your audition that the woman recorded and were very impressed! We would like to announce you as the character Elizabeth Capley!!"

I was now awake and full of energy. "Really?" My voice squeaked. "Thank you so much!! When do we start filming?" I ask excitedly. "We start filming in 2 weeks! I'll text your mom the details. We hope to see you there." "Can you by chance send me the rest of the cast's numbers so I can get to know them?" I ask. "Of course I can. I'll send them to you right now! Have a good day and we hope to see you soon." "Bye!!" 

I jump out of bed and scream throughout the house announcing that I was now awake and ready to roll. I hear my little brother stomp out of his room and scream, "SHUT UP!" before slamming the door closed.

I feel so loved. "Love you too, Max."

I hear my mom come out of her room and walk upstairs asking why the heck I was awake right now to which I replied with "I GOT THE PART!" "What?" She asks still half asleep. "I got the part of Elizabeth Capley for IT!"
"Congrats, honey! I'm so proud of you!" She says and hugs me. Really tight. I'm about to loose oxygen. "You're killing me, mother." She lets me go and walks back to her room to sleep.

I go to Max's room to see what he's doing because I'm bored and no one is awake right now. "Hey, Bro." I say. "Hey, Riles. Why are you in my room?" He asks, annoyed. "I'm bored."  "So? Get out of my room." He replies back rudely. "You're so mean to me. I'm telling mom."  I say acting like I was sad to make him be nice to me. "Um there's no need for that. Hah. I love you sis." He says nervously. "Love you too." I sing and smile before walking out of his room to see him flip me off, realizing I was faking being sad.

"I'm actually gonna tell mom about that one, bud." I could practically feel his eyes rolling at me.

My little brother, Max, is 13 and annoying as frick. He looks like me but he's taller, I stand at 5ft while he stands at 5'6 and is definitely less mature. He is my twin but he's 4 minutes younger than me.

I go back to the kitchen to get food because I'm really hungry. I get some froot loops and head up stairs but by the time I'm up the stairs the froot loops are gone, so I have to go back down to put my bowl in the sink.

After getting to my room I slip in my warm and cozy bed and see that he sent me everyone's messages. It's 8:00 by now so I guess I can text them now.

Me: Heyyyy!!! This is Rilee Valentine aka Elizabeth Capley speaking.

After a few minutes someone answers.

Sophia:This Sophia Lillis aka Beverly Marsh speaking. Not to be weird or anything but I LOVE YOUR WORK!
Me:Awwww thanks Sophia! I can't wait to meet you irl! 💕
Finn:ew there's girls.
Me:Get used to it, dipwad.
Jack:ROASTED
Jaeden:Cringe worthy if you ask me.
Jack: no one asked you
Me:ROASTED, TOASTED, AND BURNED
Jack: we deserve a high five Rilee.
Me:Facts
Finn:Ded. I'm scared to meet Rilee and Jack together they will kill us all.
Me:Probably
Jack:True
Jaeden: We met five seconds ago and we are already besties
Sophia: that's a good thing because we will be filming together for a long time
Me:Meeting Finn irl will make me wanna kms bc he's so ugly
Finn: how rude
Jaeden: true. He looks like a froggy 🐸
Jack:that is very true
Finn: how do you know what I look like? Are you all creepy pervs😒
Me:no we watch your vines
Finn: aww I have admirers?
Jaeden: surprisingly
Jack: I'm a admirer. I love you finny👅😍😘💋💕❣️💘💓
Me:whenever I go to the bathroom I get this pain to urge😂😭
Finn: First of all ew jack. Second of all don't remind me of that vine I was like 5 when I made it
Me: you made it a few days ago. Are you admiting you haven't gone through puberty yet? Thank god! you need a glow up bad
Jaeden: yes you need to get out of this froggy phase 🐸🐸😭
Sophia: dang guys I leave my phone for 5 seconds and I come back to everyone roasting Finn 😆
Finn: finally someone is taking my side
Sophia: I wasn't taking your side I just said they were roasting you. Now that I think about it you do look like a frog
Finn: ugh you are all bullies!!😞
Me: aw its okay finny i Love you
Finn: love you too Rilee
Jack: YOU BUTTHOLE! RILEE IS MINEEE
Me: I'm not anyone's. I am my own self and an independent woman! I don't need no man.
Sophia: Preach sista🙏🏻
Jack: Fine then me and finny will get together 👅
Finn: I don't think so
Jaeden: *whispers* jack, this will ruin your life!! try to win Rilee over! *whispers*
Me: you do realize you're texting this and I can read it right?
Jaeden: what are you talking about? Old people bother me but no.
Chosen:...
Jeremy: what even.
Chosen left the group
Jeremy left the group
Me: BHAHHA
Finn: wth is this group convo?

Rilee changed the group
message to Roasting Finny👅
Me:😏
Jack: It's freaking 12. We've been texting for 5 hrs this is not healthy
Finn: you're not healthy
Me: 😬cringe
Jaeden: at least he tried
