"Hinata!"

It was 6:54 in the Yuhi household and Kurenai had a surprise for Hinata-

two actually.

xxx Hinata's Room xxx

"Wha? W-wait! Don't worry little cinnamon bun, nothing bad will happen to you..." A sleepy and delusional Hinata was drooling, "as long as you're with me."

"That's it. Just a little closer."

By now Hinata's mouth was overflowing at the thought of the food in front of her.

"A-almost there."

She was so close that she could almost touch it.

"Ha."

Hinata laughed thinking about how it would soon be in her mouth. As the cinnamon bun came closer she opened her mouth to bite down on it.

"Aaahum-"

But before she could pop the 'p' a voice cut through her dream.

"Hinata!" 

Hinata's eyes flew open with her jaw unhinged as she was about to bite her teddy bear as she looked around and almost cried.

"So close." was all she could say.

She ruined my dream, and for that, I'm staying here! Hinata thought as she went back to sleep.

Suddenly the door flew open.

Well that didn't last long

Rolling over she was met face-to-face with her adoptive mother Kurenai. Pouting she made puppy dog eyes and pleaded

"I-I wanna sleep."

Sighing, Kurenai walked up to Hinata's bed and grabbed hold of her ankles. Then pulled-

hard.

Does she always have to do this? Kurenai thought while trying to pull Hinata from her bed.

"Okaa-san!" Hinata whined while clinging to her bed for dear life This only caused Kurenai to reposition the way she held Hinata and start dragging her from the bed.

All the chaos stopped when a voice echoed through the room,

"Wow, great way to deal with Hina mom."

Hinata's older sister, Anko, said as she grabbed her adoptive mom and started whispering in her ear.

Hinata and Anko weren't related by blood. Heck, Kurenai wasn't even their real mother. She adopted both of them from the orphanage when they were young.

While Anko whispered in Kurenai's ear, Kurenai's eye's lit up in realization. Turning away from the two, Hinata crossed her arms,

Something smells fishy, What's going on?

Kurenai finally spoke up," Okay, that's fine Hina, I'll just tell the guys to come back later."

With that, Hinata jumped out of bed and disappeared in a blink.

That was fast, Kurenai and Anko sweatdropped.

Reaching the bottom of the stairs, Hinata shouted, "Guys!" But she suddenly froze,

they weren't there.

Of course they weren't, they've been gone for years now. Realizing she'd been duped Hinata turned to head back upstairs, but it was too late. anko and Kurenai were blocking the path.
