I finally got to change out of my hospital gown.

I'm leaving the hospital.

Not forever. That day hadn't come for me yet.

I'm just visiting a few of my old friends.

Niall coming along with me.

Why? I felt like Niall needed to be out for a couple more days before he starts chemotherapy. Because I'm hella sure he ain't gonna be going to concerts when he starts.

They are still doing concerts, but only doing covers, because they think it's unfair to sing any of their songs without Niall because it just doesn't sound right.

"Hey Niall, just a few more days until you like me" I said.

Niall touched his hair. "How can you be so positive about this? I can't, I know I'm letting down all of my fans..."

I turned to Niall.

"Niall don't you dare say that. Stay positive, it helps plus the fans don't want to see you sad do they?" I asked.

"Your right, I'll get through this for the fans..." Niall paused then added, "and you".

We finally arrived at my old school. Claire High School.

"You went to school here?" Niall asked.

"Yeah, it was a good school" I said.

Niall held my hand as we walked in.

Erica, the librarian shrieked as she saw me.

"Oh my god, Amy!" She pulled me into a tight hug.

Then she looked at Niall. "Niall Horan, world famous popstar...standing here in front of me..." Then she realized the hospital bracelet.

We didn't take it off because we were going back to the hospital again, we never like signed out of the hospital (a/n: is that possible to leave the hospital without signing out? I've been able to leave the hospital with my bracelet, but i always gotten the papers...the thing, the thing you get before you leave...you know...like your name leaves the hospital computers and shit).

"I'm in the hospital because I have cancer, I'm Amy's friend".

Friend. He considers me as a friend.

'Of course he does'.

I smiled. "Were cancer buddies" I said.

"Awwwwwww, I wish you both good luck, I have to head back to stacking books" Erica hurried off.

I turned to Niall. I pointed towards the office. "Come on Niall" I said.

I literally pulled him into the office.

The principal happened to be in the office at that time and he gave me a hug, he also gave Niall a hug so he wouldn't feel left out.

"Amy the whole school missed you so much! Oh we got a present for you!"

I raised my eyebrow. "What?"

"Someone was going to take it to the hospital for you...one of your best friends, Sammy was it. But you came here first".

Niall nudged me. "This school is awesome".

Suddenly Mr.Sandy snapped his fingers. "Do you have time? The students said if you ever came back, they'll do something for you."

I nodded. "We still have time."

Niall agreed.

Mr.Sandy called all the students and teachers into the auditorium for a 'special announcement'.
