I'm on a hill. I'm sitting in front of a plaid blanket with different varieties of sweet and savory foods. It seems as if a picnic... no that's not the right term... a banquet is set in front of me. Varieties from pastries, to cookies, to mashed potatoes and gravy are heaped full, their scents making their way to my nose. I'm starving and just want to dig in, but I don't. Something's holding me back. I sit there. Waiting. For something. I don't know what-
Oh my god! I stifle a shriek. I shake my head. This can't be real. This isn't right. How did Brian get here? I look around me at the green meadows that never seem to end. How... did I get here? I start to get up to walk away from this surreal setting, but suddenly Brian speaks.
"It's okay. Stay... for me."
I obey. He comes over, and lingers above me. For a second I don't think he's going to join me on the ground, but then he does. We sit in silence. The weight that didn't allow me to eat is now gone. I grab to pick up a pastry, but Brian grabs my hand. He holds it in his and traces a circle. He then looks into my eyes with his chocolate brown tantalizing eyes. And then, just like that, he's closing in. The space between us gets ever so smaller. As he closes in, my breath catches in my throat. He puts his hand under my chin. He's so close I can feel his breath. Our lips part. And then-
"Ellena."
Startled, I look at him. The voice that came out is the same voice as before, but it's a different texture.
"Ellena." The voice is changing every so slightly.
"Ellena."
I awake.
