My Life Is ... Complicated

Finaly The First Mission

"All the honors please meet in the Deans office in ten minuets." said the overhead speaker. The honors class was just a code name for the P.E.A. I pushed past the crowds and the people.

"I can't bevilve it! I'm a strait 'A' student, and they chose Oliver Yassy who is a failing student to be in the honors class" said a nerd. I stopped and stared at the boy. "Watcha staring at?" he asked.

"I didn't know that people like you could get sassy." I said. He swung a punch at me but I doged it. "And a bully." I pinched his neck and he crumpled to the floor.

"Hey! What's going on here?" asked Jordan, attempting to push throught the crowd that had formed. "Rose, come with me." He grabbed my hand and dragged me along with him. When we had turned the corner, Jordan turned to me.

"What were you doing?"

"Self defence. He tried to punch me, I in self defence pressure pointed him."

"Where'd you learn that pressure point."

"My sunday school teacher," He laughed, it was good to hear my former school crush laugh. I'm guessing he'd been pressure pointed a couple of times. Man upbringing, you know.

"Okay, let's go." He grabbed my hand and we went to the deans office. We laughed on the way there.

"Remeber in sophmore year how you used to comeup to me every morning and say 'How' life?' "

"And then you'd say 'I lost' " We kept on joking and laughing. I guess I was starting to have feelings for him again, because as soon as we got in the room, and everybody stared at us, he let go of my hand and sat across the room, and I wasn't the happiest person on earth.

"Please sit down Miss Upulio,"said the principal. I took a seat next to Drew and listened. "So we are all here because we are going to have the first mission of the year."

"WHOOP!" yelled a senior. The room erupted in laughter.

"Mhm. As I was saying, we are going to have our first mission. Only a few of you made the cut to be on this mission," I shifted nerviosly in my seat. "There will only be five of you, they are." Everyone leaned forward, like it was a secret. "Drew, Alisha, Rose, Jordan, and Oliver." Oliver?! I wanted to scream and strangle someone. I took a deap breath in and out. "Please come up." I looked over to Drew, who seemed to be in a state of shock.

"Come on," I wispered. I grabbed his hand and lead him to the front of the room. Jordan also got up along with an Indian girl (not native american). When we all got to the stage Drew was still in his state of shock, Jordan was being.....Jordan, Oliver was trying to be cool (probly to impress a girl), Alicia was trying to hold back tears, and I was trying to keep my emotions together.

We trained, we comitted, and we might not come back. But had we done the right thing?

I thought about that, and was about to back out. I thought about Harry, and how no one knew where he was. I had to find him. I had to find my friend. This apparently had encouraged me because I spoke.

"We will battle the monkey man. We will find Harry. If not my friends than I." Wow I really sounded poetic. The room was silent.

"I will join," said Alicia. I looked back at her and smiled. I held out my hand to her and she grabbed my hand.

"I'll join" said Oliver. I gave him a death glare but quickly looked away. He grabbed Alicia's hand and she turned red as a tomato.

"I guess, if it's the right thing" said Jordain. I turned and smiled at him holding out my extra hand. He looked away and joined hands with Oliver.

"I...Will..." stuttered Drew. I gave him a smile and he kinda stumbled to where I was and grabbed my hand. The class aplauded, and for some reason I felt heroic.

"Wonderful speech, thing" said the principal. "Now, after school you guys are going to meet up at Walmart. Someone will be waiting there for you with an envelope. Take the envelope and read your mission."

"So it's like a scavenger hunt!" Yelled Drew all excited.

"No. You will have challenges on the way, stay together and you'll do fine. Like everyone says 'no man left behind'." That was our que, we left the room and headed for our lockers. We had only ten minuets left of this period so what's the point of going to class? I passed by rows of lockers and got to mine. The girl Alicia was standing in front of my locker talking to Jordan. She giggled and he chuckled. As soon as I got to my locker, she moved but still beside Jordan. I grabbed my books for my next period and slammed my locker shut. Alicia jumped, she said something to Jordan and they both walked away. I leaned against my locker and before I knew it I was sitting on the floor. I was in deap thought abolut everything.

"You alright?" Asked Drew. I looked up and shaked my head. "What's the matter?" Asked Drew sitting next to me.

"So many things," I said. He looked at his watch.

"We have ten minuets, tell me"

"Well we might not come back, so how do I tell my friend that I'm going to be gone for who knows how long? Then I hate the idea of going on a mission with Oliver. I'm getting mixed signes from Jordan on weather or no he stll likes me," then I broke down I'm tears. Drew gave me a tissue. I gave a forced smile. " I'm probly making a big deal out of nothing."

"No your not. This isn't my first mission, and I wasn't expeccting to be called on a second mission, but I felt that way, you know with friends, not with Jordan that would be creepy" I laughed and got up. I gave Drew a hug.

"Thanks"

"Your welcome" I turned around and saw Penelope standing there wide eyed.

"Penelope, its not what you think," I said quickly. She grabbed Drew by the arm and dragged him away. Great, now I've got to save Drew. I followed behind them, just enough so I couldn't lose them. They were laughing and joking around. I sighed in relife. No one was gettting killed yet. I went back to my locker and grabbed my stuff from off the floor. The bell ringed signaling the class was over and the halls were automaticly filled. I bumped into Jordan on my way to the class.

"Oh my goodness," I said trying to help Jordan grab his stuff. I held it out for him to take. He took and walked away without even looking at me. A part of me died. I kept on walking until I reached my class.

"Rose!" Yelled Charlotte and Olivia at the same time. I ran over to them.

"Wassabi?"Olivia broke out in laughter. I joined her and Charalotte creepily stared at us. 

"Whats so funny?" I took a deap breath.

"Someone that Olivia knows yelled that at Joey," She started laughing and we all laughed.

"Students! Time for class!!" Boomed the teacher, we went silent and stood in a strait light. 

Ok. So the first mission is going to be the next few chapters. I just realised that theres alot of Jordan in this chapter.
