Anxiety's P.O.V
I was sitting around my room, listening to music when the alert went off. My phone started to buzz rapidly.
"What the-" I said quietly. I picked my phone up. The screen was flashing.
New trait is arriving in 5...4...3...
I sat up in my bed and swung my legs over the edge. I pulled off my headphones and set them on my dresser. I looked up at the small and only mirror in the room.
Do you want to look presentable?
I ran my fingers through my shaggy hair. My eye shadow was a little smudged but there was no fixing that. The new trait was probably already here.
Since Logan, Patton and Roman were helping Thomas with a project, I would be the first to meet the new trait.
"They will have to get used to me looking like me anyway." I muttered to my self. I walked out into the hallway. I glanced over the other three doors, looking for a new one. It was on the right side of Patton's. It seemed like a normal white door but it started to sprout color. First blue, then green, then yellow. the color swirled together to form a clump of...well swirls.
I would never admit this out loud, but it was pretty. I walked up to the door. I felt a bit anxious.
Ha, Anxiety getting anxious. That's a good one.
The door opened a bit. Fingers curled around the edge. They where long and slender. Feminine.
Its a girl
The door opened a bit more. I stepped forward a bit more. I saw mocha colored eyes peeking out.
"Hello." I said. "Don't be afraid."
What was there to be afraid of?
Your self maybe?
The door opened more. A girl stepped out. She had long brown hair that had a slight wave to it. She was wearing blue jeans and a grey shirt with a yellow heart in the middle that was covered by a purple jacket that resembled my own. Her honey colored skin was spotted with a few freckles.
I could feel her anxiousness. It was very strong.
"I'm Anxiety" I said to her. She smiled slightly and tucked a lock of her long brown hair behind her ear.
"I'm-" she was hesitant to tell me. Not wanting to press her, I put my hand on her shoulder. She was a little taken back by the touch.
"You don't have to tell me." I said. "Didn't tell everyone my name until a few months ago." She seemed reassured by that.
"What trait are you?" I asked instead. She shook her head.
"No," She said. Her voice was smooth and pretty. "My name is Morgan."
I got the strange feeling that she was lying to me. I brushed it away. She didn't answer my question about what trait she was but she seemed so nervous, I decided against it.
"It's nice to meet you Morgan." I said. "My real name is Virgil." She smiled at my name.
"Like the poet?"
"Yeah, kinda."
"I like it." She said. I shoved my hands into my pockets. She looked down at the ground.
Silence."You want something to eat?" I asked awkwardly.
Great, that's a real good impression.
Her answer surprised me
"Yeah, I'd like like that." she said. I smiled.
"I'll show you the kitchen." I replied. "Patton makes the best cookies."
