Marionettes Point of View
I was lying facedown on my bed, my head buried in my pillow, which was wet from the tears that continued to pour from my eyes. I was pregnant. My phone buzzed. I looked at it through my teary eyes to see that Alya had uploaded the video of Chat Noir coming from my window on her Ladyblog. It surprised me that Alya waited this long to post it. I turned my phone off and threw it across my room, it's screen shattering with a loud crack. Thank god my parents were off at my aunt and uncles, they said they'd be back in a few days. I pushed my face back on my pillow and let out some loud sobs. I was 14 and pregnant. It felt like my whole life was now laid out for me.
I heard a knock at my window with a confused, "Princess?"
I tried to hold back my sobs, but they kept coming.
"Princess!" a louder, more desperate knock was heard.
I grabbed the closest thing I could find, which happened to be my shoe, and threw it at the window. "Go away!" I shouted, hoping he would leave, but I knew that my voice sounded like I was crying. It was weak and raspy.
A 'crack' was heard as my window was forced open and Chat Noir came into my room. "Princess, what's wrong?!" He asked, looking for me, then seeing me, now sitting up, on my bed. I didn't need a mirror to know that I looked bad. My eyes were probably rad and puffy from crying and my hair messed up, showing the hickey he gave me to the world. "W-what's wrong?" He asked, obviously confused and concerned.
"G-Go away!" I managed to say, tears still falling from my eyes.
He turned and went down my trap door, then came back up with a glass of water. He then carefully climbed up to my bed, sat on it, and gave me the glass. "Drink, you're probably dehydrated." He said calmly. He was so nice and caring. I looked up into his beautiful, green eyes. He would make a wonderful father. Wait, what am I thinking? He wasn't going to be a father. I shook my head, and gave the glass back to him. I just realized how dry my throat felt. He wasn't going to give up yet. He put his hand behind my head, and tilted the glass up to my lips. I didn't resist. The cool liquid ran down my parched throat as I kept looking into his gorgeous eyes. He put the now empty cup down, and gently took my shoulders. "Now, why were you crying, Princess?" He sounded serious for once
"I-I can't tell you." I said, knowing that I'd probably die of shame if he knew.
"You have to." He said, "I don't know what I'd do if something happened to you."
I shook my head, "Go away, you shouldn't be concerning yourself with me and my problems." While in reality, this was his problem as much as mine.
"No, I care about you, and any problem of yours is a problem of mine."
"No, they're not." I shook my head, then put it in my hands.
"Headache?" He asked me, probably because of my head in my hands. I nodded. "Do you have headache medicine in your bathroom?" I nodded again. He got up to go get it, then I remembered, the pregnancy test! It was on my counter, he would surely see it!
"I'll get it!" I said, starting to climb down, then nearly falling. I was caught by the strong arms of Chat.
"No, I insist." He said, picking me up and putting me on my chaise.
"You can't!" I shouted, which caused him to stop.
"Why not?" He asked me.
"Because, because," I couldn't come up with an excuse, so I just silently looked into his eyes, hoping he'd just let me get it without question.
"Are you hiding something from me?" He asked, coming over to me.
I got up, moved around him, and walked to the bathroom, where I stuffed the the test in a box under my sink, and got out the headache medicine. I took a few pills.
"Princess?" Chat asked, pushing open the bathroom door.
"Just had to pick up some things you probably shouldn't see." I said, making it sound as innocent as possible.
"Ohh." He said, turning red.
I started laughing. He joined in too. Suddenly, my stomach didn't feel right, and I stopped laughing. Another wave of nausea hit me, and I started to stumble to the toilet. Chat Noir noticed this and stopped laughing too.
"Princess?" He said. I started to throw up in the toilet, and suddenly Chat Noir was at my side, holding my hair back.
After I was finished, he wiped my mouth and helped me rinse my mouth with mouthwash.
"Thanks." I said, after I was in my bed and he was sitting next to me.
"So is that why you didn't go to school today?" He asked.
"Yes." I lied, not meeting his eye.
"Princess." He scolded me, knowing that I was hiding the truth.
"No, I probably threw up because I laughed to hard." I lied again, but this time he took it.
"Were you crying for the same reason you didn't go to school."
I nodded.
"Why-"
"Please don't ask." I cut him off.
"I really care for you, Princess, I really do.  I don't want you to ever be unhappy and I want to do whatever is in my ability to help." He pushed on.
"You're amazing, you know that, right?" I told him, changing the subject.
"Not as amazing as you." He said. "I, I love you, Marionette."
"I love you too." I replied, surprising myself. We leaned in, then our lips were touching. The kiss was soft, gentle, but amazing. After a minute, we reluctantly pulled away from each other.
"I have to leave." He said, looking outside.
"Please don't." I said, grabbing his hand. He nodded, and pulled us under the covers, his arm wrapping around my stomach.  While he slept, I stayed awake. I had finally decided what I was going to do. I couldn't get an abortion without my parents or Chat finding out, so I would leave Paris, and go somewhere else. I'd do this in 2 weeks. I'll leave everyone in two weeks.
