The Kidnap Of A Princess

Chapter 1

~ Princess Pov ~

Princess Alisha was almost fully dressed for the birthday ball that was just for her. She felt a little excited but not as happy since she soon had to be wed by the law of royalty.
She was just getting her hair done as she soon stood up and walked to her door as a little wind from outside came in her room. Alisha looked over to the window as she saw the nights sky and ocean as it looked as beautiful as she first saw it.
So she took in a breath and put on a smile as she then opened her door and walked out of her room to the hall where every one was waiting.
While walking down those halls the servants stood there straight up as she walked passed them. She felt a little guilty for them doing this for her since she thought that their feet must hurt all the time.
"approaching princess Alisha the third." As the announcer said that she looked at every one as they clapped.

-Pirate Pov-

William sighs discreetly as he stands towards the front of the crowd in a "borrowed" naval officer disguise, he was getting tired of waiting for things to begin, but just as he was getting bored, his prize showed up, the sound of clapping loud in the ballroom as the princess walked through. 'Things will be getting very interesting soon.' He thinks to himself with a devilish grin as he glances towards the large windows looking out to the ocean and the balcony area

~ Princess Pov ~

Alisha looked at every one as they came to greet her. But she caught her eye on a man as he looked at what looked like the balcony.
To her he seemed a little different from every one else even though he did not stand out too much.
Alisha's father then came to her as he smiled while her 2 older sisters came over as well one messing with her red hair as the other one with black hair said to Alisha. " Hey Alisha you going to pick a man to dance with?"
" Yeah there are so many men here to choose from. " her second sister said with her red hair down.

-Pirate Pov-

William nodded and bowed slightly as he caught Alisha looking at him '"fortune favors the bold." He mutters to himself as he watches as everyone begins to go off to dance and mingle, while he actually started moving towards the princesses, confidence in his stride and fire in his eyes as he did, then he bowed before them "good evening your highnesses, you all look lovely this evening, especially you Princess Alisha." He says with both suave and class. William was well practiced at impersonating nobles and had no trouble dealing with women as himself either

~ Princess Pov ~

Alisha looked at the man before her as her sisters looked showed him their smiles that would catch every man's eyes on them. But Alisha placed her hands to her back. " Thank you sir."
Alishas sister with the red hair came to Alishas side. " What is your name? You're not from around here since I know every man here."

-Pirate Pov-

William stood up from his bow and smiled "you're right your highness, I'm from from the Southern Isles, I only just recently returned in time to attend Princess Alisha's birthday." He says as he stands with his hands behind his back "I hope you will forgive me for being so bold but I made my way over here with a purpose, and that purpose was to ask Princess Alisha to dance." He says as he bows again with his hand extended towards Alisha "I was taught and have learned during my career that fortune tends to favor the bold." He tells them as he grins internally

~ Princess Pov ~

Alisha looked surprised at him denying her sisters as she looked at his hand and took it without thinking. She then felt that this man was probably more then what he was saying as she could see a few small scars on his hands and a little on his slightly exposed forearm.

-Pirate Pov-

William closed his hand around Alisha's and stood up straight before he began to lead her towards the dance floor, leading her away from the king and her sisters to dance with his, putting his hand on her hip while continuing to hold her hand, slowly dancing with her as the band played "thank you for this dance your highness." He tells her with a smile

~ Princess Pov ~

Alisha looked at him and said a little low. " no need to thank me but i'm not very sure that people like you wear scars like you do."
She looked at his hand then back to him as she then locked eyes with him not smiling as much. " you never said your name yet eather sir."

-Pirate Pov-

William nods "you're right, most people don't wear their scars like I do, I wear them with pride." He tells her as they slowly spin "My name is Captain William, William Burch." He tells her, lying about his last name as he glances over towards the king "tell me your highness, what do you think of the sea?" He asks as they slowly dance over towards the window, his eyes keeping watch on the king and his men near them since he was sure he'd be recognized eventually

~ Princess Pov ~

" The sea?" She asked at first as she then looked out to the windows as she felt the same like she always does seeing the ocean. " It's beautiful... it always has been since I knew what the ocean was."
As she said that she had a light blush as she remembered her mother telling her that the ocean was a place where they could be free. But Alisha looked down and at his boots making her look at William.
"sir Burch? What kind of captain... are you?" She said low and curious of his answer to her question.
