Chapter 2

-Pirate Pov-

William smiles "I'm a naval captain, I command a ship and a crew." He tells her as they stop dancing and he leads her outside to the balcony with a few other party goers "did you know that I once knew you're mother the queen? God rest her soul." He asks as he looks out to sea, his eyes becoming misty as he remembers the queen, his hand still holding Alisha's "you are a near mirror image of her you know?" He tells her as he looks at her

~ Princess Pov ~

" You knew my mother? No one talks about her since her death... " she said looking away as she felt pain from remembering her. " I was told a pirate stole her heart and then killed her since her beauty was as great as the ocean..."

-Pirate Pov-

William nodded at he looked up at the cloud covered moon "aye...her beauty made the ocean look as though it were but a puddle..." he says reminiscing "do you know the name of her pirate lover?" He asks her, his arm resting upon the railing as he looked out to sea , seeing his ship approaching under the cover of darkness. It was almost time

~ Princess Pov ~

" no... father forbid anyone, even us to talk about mother or to even go by the ocean." Alisha then came back to William and placed her hands on the railing looking up. " but I remember my mother telling me. Once I feel where I am wanted that's where I should stay."

-Pirate Pov-

William smiled "I can tell you the name of your mother's forbidden lover if you would like." He tells her as he takes hold of her hand and looks at her "it can be our secret." He tells her as his ship comes to a stop below the cliff face that the balcony over looked. Once he told her, he would take her away from here

~ Princess Pov ~

She looked into his eyes and she blushed as he held her hand. " I remember he had eyes like yours... I remember meeting him once when I was 6..."
She then was going ask him if he was the pirate till her father called for her. " Alisha! Come, you are to meet the prince to who will have your hand."
Alisha looked at her father then at William "I'm sorry... I have to go..."
She then turned to leave seeing her father standing there waiting impatiently.

-Pirate Pov-

William had to make his move now "Alisha wait." He says as he reaches out and grabs her arm before she got too far away "I have to tell you something first." He says as he looks the king in the eyes "I'm sorry but I lied to you, my name isn't William Burch and I'm not a naval captain...it's actually William Burke, and I'm the pirate that your mother was killed for falling in love with." He says as he pulled her closer and his face became less kind looking as he looked towards the king "I would say that it's good to se me you "Your Majesty" But I wouldn't want to lie." He says with venom in his voice as he holds Alisha by his arm around her waist and he jumps up onto the railing of the balcony

~ Princess Pov ~

She looked ay William shocked as her father cursed and brought out a sword. " You fool! You are surrounded by soldiers! Know get your filthy hands off my daughter!"
Alisha looked up to William as she then started to get mad, struggling to get out of his arm yelling. " you killed my my mother! Let me go you pirate!"

-Pirate Pov-

"You're right, I'm surrounded by soldiers on all side with my back to the sea, there no way to escape." William says before Alisha starts to struggle "quit squirming!" He tells her before he uses his free hand to strike the back of her neck, knocking her out so he could carry her under his arm "You and I both know what really happened to Alison, don't we?" He asks, the question directed towards the king "anyway, I must be going, I'm already running late." He says as he takes a step backwards off the railing "we'll meet again." He says before he and the unconscious Alisha begin to plummet towards the ocean. William quickly changed their positions so that once they hit the water they cut through the water and disappeared beneath the surface

~ King Pov ~

" No! Alisha!" He ran as he looked over the balcony not seeing a thing as he turned to his solders. " what are you just standing there for! Go find my daughter!"
The king then looked back over the balcony railing and said loud enough hoping Williams will hear. " I will get my daughter back! William once we get you you will die like Alison!"

-Pirate Pov-

Once William regained his bearings from the dive he swam to the surface with one arm hooked under her arm and wrapped around her. Once they breached the waters surface he started to swim towards his ship, pulling Alisha until he reached the side of the boat "throw a line down! Tie a loop in it!" He shouted to his crew as the wave tried to push him and Alisha under. His crew quickly tossed a rope with a loop in it, which he placed over Alisha's arms so it held her under her shoulders and breasts "haul her up!" He shouts as he starts to climb the rope ladder they also tossed down. Once onboard William had Alisha tied up and placed in the captains quarters, his room, then had his crew set sail away from the kingdom that now hunted them "I got her Alison..." he says to no one as he holds the wheel of the ship

~ Princess Pov ~

She slowly opened her eyes as she tried to move her arms to sit up but felt her arms tied up. She tried to get out of the rope. " I swear once I get out of this, you pirates will die by my hands!"
She was a very good with a sword and a nearly an archery expert in which not even her father even knows.
