"I'm sorry your husband may not make it..."

"Your pregnancy is very risky. If you continue this could cause your life..."

"I don't care"

"You could die"

"I'll take the chance for them to live"

Faint sounds of whimpering echoed through the room, bouncing off every walls.

Though her vision began to blur, she could still make out the figures of the two babies she had just given birth to.

A daughter and a son

James would be happy if he were there. Upon hearing the news he had wept with joy before planting a kiss on her stomach.

"Finally--our own baby. We'll be parents and we'll give them all the love they deserve."

"We're in this together. I'm here for you. Always."

Her eyes began to tear up as a drop meekly rolled off the side of her eyes. 

And if only she would get the chance to see them grow up

Her soul began to detach itself. As if the vessel that was her body no longer wished to hold it still. It was a balloon on a windy day with an affinity towards the sky regardless of where it took her. Like a piece of metal to a magnet. Like someone who was ready to move onto the next phase in life: The world after this world. The alleged paradise away from this hell called life.

How she wished she could stay

How she wished they wouldn't have to lose both their parents--that is if James has the chance to wake up.

A single teardrop rolled off her cheek as her lips curved into a solemn smile as everything became engulfed in black.

"Singer and actress Nadine Lustre Reid unconscious after giving birth. A representative says doctors were able to revive her, but actress still remains in coma. As does her husband, James Reid, who months ago fell into one after a tragic accident. The twins are healthy and okay, but no word is known about what is to happen to them with both parents out in a coma.."

Nadine's eyes fluttered open. Gasping, she sat up while her hand snaked its way around the rails of the hospital bed.

Upon waking up her mind was nothing but a blank canvas with only vague memories of the past.

She was Nadine Lustre

Actress and singer

Married to James Reid

Who fell in a coma after an accident. 

And was not there when she gave birth

Her eyes widened as she began to recall the moment she lost consciousness and thought she was to die.

"The twins..." she mumbled to herself. "Where are they..how long has it--"

"Oh my god you're awake!"

Nadine jumped at the sudden sound of someone else's voice.

She opened her mouth in preparation to ask questions, but before she could say anything, the young nurse had run out of the room.
