Chapter 2 - Friends?

(Akise POV)

It was around 1 pm when lunch started and I met up with Amano by the cafeteria doors. I was so nervous, but at the same time excited to finally hang out with my crush!

Hey, so where do you want to sit? Amano asked. Maybe outside since it's sunny? I replied with a smile.

Sounds good! Amano said as he started walking through the cafeteria to the mini park just outside the school.

So Amano, tell me a little bit about your self, I asked but soon after regretted.

Well, first you don't have to call me Amano, you can call me Yuki, He told me.

Okay Yuki, do you play any sports, or have any hobbies? I asked.

I don't play any sports, but I do like drawing and writing. And you? Yuki asked.

Me? Well you can call me Akise and I don't play any sports but I do like crime. Like crime shows, investigation, that stuff, I replied.

Wow thats really cool! Also, don't take this the wrong way but why did you want to eat lunch together? Yuki asked me.

I blushed and thought of the real reason, and struggled to find an exuse.

Well I don't have many friends, and you just seemed like a cool, easy going guy, I replied with some hesitation.

There were a few moments of silence before either of us spoke or looked at each other.

In all honesty I always admitted you, and wanted to be friends with you at the least. You are really care-free and smart, he complimented.

Wait hold up! Hold the fuck UP! He wanted to be friend with me!!! FUCKING ME?! And he wants to hang out again?!!

All those thoughts went through my head in a split second before replying.

*cough* Th-thank you, and I'm glad that we can become friends! I blushed and replied, as I stood up.

I had such a big urge to just kiss him right then, and there, but I knew that if I did it would ruin our new friendship.

I reached my hand out to help Yuki up off the ground.

(Akise POV Narration)

I couldn't take it anymore, I leaned in and kissed him on the fore head. He was just so cute!

Just kidding. Ugggggg I wish that that happened!!! He's so cute and seems like he truly would like to be friends with someone like me.

That being said, the bell just rang and he went to his last period and I went to mine. Lucky on this day of every month I get free period, I normally go home but today I have to wait for Yuki.

I went to the gym and sat under the bleachers, fantasized, and wrote about the day.

Dear diary,

  The time now is 1:45 pm and open period just started.
I ate lunch with Yuki. Yeah I know, Yuki! Now we calm each other by our first names!
Turns out, he wanted to be friends with me so it all works out!
But uggg I had the biggest urge to kiss him today, but that would just be inappropriate since we are just now friends. And if I came out to him he would run away, just like everybody else. Whatever, after school we are going into town, so maybe we can get a little closer? Let's hope!
