Chapter 3 - Day trip?!

(Akise POV)

I waited outside of the school, after the bell rang, for Yuki.

A few minutes passed, and out he came, with his backpack and textbooks. He looked like he was struggling with all the text books so I offered to carry them.

"I can take those" I said.

"No no, It's fine" Yuki replied with a smile.

I grabbed the books out of his arms, and carted them as we walked.

***** - At the Coffee Shop - *****

We walked into the village, for coffee after school. Luckily, our school is only a 10 minute walk from the coffee shop.

"Can I order two coffees, and two chocolate chip muffins?" I asked.

"Is that it?" The cashier asked.

"That's it" I replied.

Yuki pulled out his wallet to pay, but I stopped him and payed instead.

"I can pay!" Yuki exclaimed.

"No I can" I replied, while paying.

I collected our coffee muffins, and found a seat for us in the coffee shop.

"Thanks, but you didn't need to do that"

"I'm the one that invited you, and, your welcome!" I replied with a big smile.

This kind of feels like a date. I mean, he doesn't like me back, but I like him. Ah! Stop that's weird! He barely knows me!!!

"What are you doing tommrow?" Yuki asked.

"O-oh, m-me? Well I-I'm not doing a-anything"

What the hell Akise! Just talk like a normal person, and stop thinking this is like a date!! I thought to my self.

"Want to go to the new amusement park in Osaka? We can bus"  Yuki suggested.

Osaka? That's like an hour drive from here, but I guess if he would enjoy it, then I would.

"Like a day trip? Sure!" I replied.

"Okay, I'll come by your house at 8 am tommrow. Don't bring money, I'll pay"

That's very generous of him. It's quite expensive to go there, if your a student.

Also, why are we so close already? It's literally been a day of friendship, and we're going on day trips? I can't complain, but it's like we've known each other for a few years!

"You must have taken a liking to me, if your already wanting to hang out again" I teased.

Let's see how he reacts to that one.

"Ah, au-um well I t-thought we c-" Yuki turned red, and somehow managed to stumble out those words.

"I was kidding"

That was pretty cute just then. I wonder if he has taken a liking to me? Haha just kidding.

"Okay, so tomorrow at 8" Yuki said, with annoyince in his voice.

(Yuki POV)

"You must have taken a liking to me, if you already want to hang out again"

"Ah u-um, I t-though we c-"

Damn it, why I'm I so flustered?! We're just friends!!

"I was kidding"

Who does this guy think he is?!

"Okay, so tomorrow at 8" i said with annoyance.

Wait, I don't know where he lives! I don't even have his phone number!

"By the way, what's your phone number?" I asked.

(Akise POV)

"By the way, what's your phone number"

"Ah! It's-"

It's a simple question! What the hell is my phone number! Ahhhhh, now Yuki got me flustered for no reason.

I told him my phone number, after checking my phone for it.

(Yuki POV)

He got pretty flustered over me asking for his phone number. Wonder why that is?

"Text me your address later"

"Will do!"

(Akise POV)

Okay so me and my crush are currently at the coffee shop. I teased him and he got flustered. Then he asked for my phone number, and I got flustered. And now we're going on a day trip on Saturday (tomorrow)?! What kind of a hang out is this?!

"It's already 5, I should get home" Yuki said.

"I can walk you"

How did those words just slip out of my mouth? "I can walk you"?! This sounds like the most generic date ever.

"Sure! You can meet my mom too!" Yuki exclaimed.

"Alright, let's get going" I said.

I walked Yuki home, and met his mom. She was surprised that Yuki actually made a friend!

Well, today was fun. And I have another fun day, planned for tommrow.

"Oh yeah, I need to text Yuki!" I remembered.

I grabbed my phone and texted Yuki my address.

Me: By the way, my address is 491, Saki line.

Yuki Amano: Thanks! Be there at 8 am!
