CHAPTER 3 Desired to be with him

"This is absurd Alice Sandra, you will not certainly do such a thing!!!" Lady Ferniece exclaimed ballistictly.

" Mother I know it is very risky, but please know that we are trying to defeat them, if we don't we can kiss our castle and the people of the different providences lives goodbye!!"She replied with firmness to her mother.

"Drake , the child has gone completely MAD!!!" Shouted Mrs. Peter.

Alice Sandra's violet eyes filled with annoyance and irritation, she was annoyed that people doubted her , she was fucking 20 for God sakes. She had to do it although she despised that fucker.

With determination she turned on her heels and walk towards her room, she told her maids that she would go on the road, she packed her expensive suitcase made from silk with her most exquisite dresses, she decided to die her hair brunette or black. After getting dress she put on her dress.



She tip toed quietly and made sure to take the back entrance of the castle, there she met Mr.  Connor  she gave him money not to tell , and soon she climbed in the carriage and they sped off to Golden Gates city which would take them to Golden Gates pier, there she would get on a steam ship to Gardania, Alice Sandra could taste victory, but when she arrived in the city, before going on the cruise ship, she would stop at a store to buy dyes for her hair, she would have to make up her background story.

Passing through Golden City was like heavens, the grooves of tree had golden yellow apples, the best in this providence, The Gold that they sold here was very expensive, the people that lived here were snobbish and cold like gold, Alice Sandra had being here at the age of 10, she hated here so much, but she had to , the carriage soon came to an halt.
Alice Sandra thanked Mr. Connor and he helped her out of the carriage, she walked and look up at the Golden Gate that was Colossal , with a sighed she stepped through, eyeing her surroundings looking for an emporium, she decided to ask somebody for assisstance , she looked around until she saw a woman who was in her middle age, she wore a black round hat with feathers most likely from a peacock and a black heart shaped dress with ruffle sleeves, and had 3 layers of petticoats, she had brown eyes and she had brunette hair with little grey hairs, she had wrinkles on her forehead, she looked like a pleasant person, Alice Sandra thought, she decided to approach her.

"Good day mam, do you know where any store is around here??" She asked kindly.
The woman looked at her with a scowl then snort, " Why the fuck are you talking to me, you clearly don't belong here, you cheap prostitute!" The woman shouted indignantly.

Alice Sandra's blood started to boil with anger, " Excuse you??, do you know who the fuck I am, I am the daughter of Earl Drake Strathon and Duchess Ferniece of Strathon,  who loves to go by Lady Ferniece, so you better know what you are dealing with, I am Lady Alice Sandra of Strathon !" She explained with authority and irritation.
The woman's eye widened in shock she apologized and told Alice Sandra to walk straight a head , take a left then she will see the store, Alice Sandra paid the lady and followed her direction.

Leaning on the railings of the steam ship "LAURASIA", she decided to take in the breeze and enjoy looking at the beautiful crystalline sapphire blue ocean , she always loved the ocean, she always felt at calm when she looked at the ocean, it helps her to be free from the oppressive court and political life, if she could be an animal, she would be a dolphin or a bird to fly away and not be a burden carrier, Laurasia was a beautiful steamship, built by Cunard Line in 1879, the ship was painted in gold with white filings . Laurasia set off 2 hours ago and would reach Gardania in about 5 days, Alice Sandra could wait and plan her revenge, she decided to buy the black die instead of brown, she signed her name  under the  alias of Maria Verasaine Lebauchess , she came from Golden Gate City , her parents died in a ship wreck and she decided to migrated to Gardania in search of happiness, as she thought this to herself she smiled with mischief and confidence , she walked from her safe heaven to go to her room and sleep soundly.
