Picture of Brailey
Before he left, though, he turned to me, causing my blood to run cold. "Welcome Home!"
The door shut, and the girl ran over to me and untied me. "Hello, my name's Brailey! What's your name?"
I tried not to make my voice crack, but I failed. "Ariana."
"Nice to meet you!" She said with a half-smile.
"Where are we, and why are we here? What do they want with us?" I asked as I got up to run over to the door.
"I don't really know, but you have to calm down." She said as she looked at me as if there was no way out. "All that I know is that I have to tell you how we do things around here. You will have to be to bed around 10:00, you have to wake up at 6:30 every morning, we take a shower a day, don't talk back to them, don't talk unless spoken to, we dress for them, and we do what they ask." Then the door opened, making a squeaky noise. "Hello, my girls, how are things coming together?" Brailey walked over to the door, "Good, how are you?"
"I'm good, Brailey, thank you!"
As the boy started to walk closer to me, I backed up closer to the wall. I could now see all of his features. He had dark short hair and eyes that pierced you to the bone. He looked about 17. As he got closer to me, I bumped into the wall, as my bangs flew into my face.
He stopped right in front of me and reached out to me. As he tucked my bangs behind my ear, he turned me around and pulled out my ponytail. "That's better!"
He turned back and walked back out the door.
"Dinner time!" It sounded like there was more than one boy this time. The boys were carrying bags that said KFC.
I turned around, and there were three boys behind me. The boy that carried me in had light blond hair, blue eyes, a little bit of green to them, and looked about 18. The boy behind him had dark-long hair and blue eyes. Then the boy that was down not too long ago also came in behind him.
Walking to a small table in the corner, Brailey grabbed my shoulder. "Only speak when spoken to, and eat they hate it when you don't."
The one that looked the oldest sat the bags on the table. As the boy took everything out, I almost puked. I hate meat, you should know, I'm a Vegan, I guess not anymore.
The boys all sat down. The boy that had come in the last pat the seat next to him while looking at me. Brailey sat down next to what seemed to be the 18-year-old, and then I sat down. "How was your day, boys?" Brailey said with a big smile on her face. How could she have a big smile on her face when they forced us to be here?
"It was fine. How are you two doing?" the 18-year-old said. "Good, thank-you," Brailey said, sounding like she practiced it every day.
"What's your name?" He said with a slight smile looking at me. "Ariana," I said, my voice turning shaky.
"That's a beautiful name, my name's Ryan." As he pointed to the boy sitting by me. "That's Luke." Then he pointed to the other boy. "Then that's Dillon."
"Cool names," I said, turning my head back to Brailey.
"Thanks." They all said at the same time, sending chills down my spine.
We all finished dinner. Even though I didn't feel like eating, I still did so the boys wouldn't get mad. Then we sat on the couch to watch a movie. Luke sat by me. Putting his arm around me, I tensed, causing him to smirk.
Finally, the movie ended at 9:00, and the boys left. Brailey took a shower, and then I did.
Stripping from my clothes, I thought about the day. Everything seemed rehearsed like they practiced everything over and over again.
We went to bed but I couldn't, all that I could think about is if anyone is looking for me yet and if the cops were searching for me. Finally, I fell into a deep sleep, waking up to Braily shaking my shoulder, "Get up, it's 6:30, and you have to take a shower and be done by 7:00 for breakfast."
"Isn't that just a waste of water?" She nodded at me, sitting by me.
"Yea, but it's the rules for some stupid reason."
I got up, and she handed me some of her clothes. "Here, you can use these until they get you some." Giving her a small smile, she gave me one back.
"Has anyone ever came close to finding you?"
She shook her head, pointing to the bathroom. "You should really take a shower now." It was almost as if she was scared to talk about it.
