Chapter 10

Emily's POV

I quickly tied my hair into a ponytail and coated my eyes with eyeliner. Giving one last glance at the mirror I was ready to prank the hell out of Cora. If anyone is confused, today as the William house tradition, is the ultimate prank day. 

I jogged down the stairs happily singing a tune, thinking about the Rick and everything that's going on. "Good morning!" My shouting echoed through the entire house with a reply of few peoples. 

"I'm right here!" Rick replied from the pool as I looked behind me. He was chilling out in the pool bench beside Cora. Damn, he's looking more hotter than he already looks. 

"Stop ogling my cousin and sit down." Cora whispered leaving a pause for dramatic effect. I ignored Rick's snort and turned to Cora.

"And may I ask what you two are doing in here at 9 am in the morning?" 

Rick replied this time. "We're chilling out as you can see. Today's prank day but no one's feeling it so I thought why not just forget about it?" 

Forget about it? 

"Yeah!" Cora joined him. "Just sit here and enjoy the silence." 

Despite being cautious the moment I sat on the bench, it gave away leaving me no choice but to jump in the cold water. Dammit! They played me! I looked up at Rick who was biting his lip to stop laughing. I'm freezing cold! 

"Rick Jousha William! You're so dead!" I hissed swatting my wet hair from my face. I bet I look like a cocoon's sister now. Rick couldn't stop the laugh this time so I dragged his arm which was dangling from the bench to the pool. Surprised by my force, with a whoosh he dropped beside me. 

"What the hell! It's freezing!" He jumped away cursing as Cora looked both of us smiling like she accomplished something. Suddenly a thought occurred to me. Was Teyana this close to them? Did she have her fun like this before? With a shudder, I turned my attention back to Rick. Thinking of Teyana with my boyfriend certainly wasn't the pleasantest of thoughts.

"What are you thinking?" He asked like the perfect boyfriend he is.

"Nothing." I cooed leaning forward to place a soft kiss on Rick's lips. I bit his lips, causing him to grunt out a curse.

"My virgin eyes!" Cora yelled dashing away from the scene making me double over in laughter. Rick turned back to me.

"So about that Monalisa-"

"We'll go today if you're free." I cut him off.

"Fantastic." He replied in a flat tone and I gave him a look. 

"A little enthusiasm would be nice." He groaned, leaning back and taking me with him. Dangling me over his shoulder he got into our room and dropped me on the bed. 

"Get ready. You only got 15 minutes." 

"What-"

"13 minutes."

"Fine, go!" I patted his chest, pushing myself back to my feet and gave him a look. With a smile, he walked out of the door closing it. 

'Don't worry buddy, I have the perfect prank ready for you.'

I thought evilly as I started to get rid of the cloths to get ready for our next adventure.

"Do you think she knows how to grin?" I asked Rick taking my time with the Mona Lisa and trying to find more bizarre things like why she doesn't have eyebrows. That's pretty weird by the way.
