"What's happened? Why are you all outside?" I said as I walked closer to Emma's room
Then ayla turned around with mascara running down her face
"No no no no.... she's not please no" I said as tears fell out of my eyes
"Her heart stopped, they trying to start it up agian" said ayla between her cries
My whole world just stopped, the woman that I love is dead, she's dead in that room. The only girl I've properly loved is dead
Then a doctor came out and said that he wanted to talk to us in the family room, I knew it she was dead
"Just tell us now, she's dead isn't she?" I said
"Mr Paul please follow me " said the doctor
"Just tell us!" I shouted getting angry while tears dropped from my eyes
"We managed to revive her, she is stable...for the time being. But I wouldn't get your hopes up. We are going to run some scans to see what's happened then we will know more" said the doctor
"So she's alive? " I asked wanting to know for sure
"Yes she's alive" said the doctor as I walked over to the window as doctors surrounded emma while they did tests on her and scans.
I was relieved, she was alive. After waiting for 20 minutes the doctors all came out and we all went in her room.
"What do you think the tests will say?" Asked ayla as I sat next to Emma holding her hand
"I don't know" I said as I looked at emma
And hour passed and the doctor came into the room with some papers.
"I've got the test results now if you want to hear them" said the doctor
"Yes we want to hear them" said ayla as she took Emma's other hand as well
"Tests have shown that emma wasnt ill, she didn't have an allergic reaction to the medication. Her body didn't need them so the medication weakened her stomach lining. She is also 2 weeks pregnant " said the doctor
"Pregnant?" Said ayla
We were all shocked. Then I remeber the night I met her. We didn't use protection. Her throwing up,I should've known.
"We have added the correct medication to her drips so she should hopefully accept them and if she does she could be awake within the next few days " said the doctor with a smile
I was happy, my girlfriend was going to survive and not only was she going to survive but she was carrying my baby.
"So your going to be a dad" said Evan trying to lighten the mood
"Yeah I guess" I said
Everybody stayed leaving a few hours later and soon it was just me and Emma.
