Ok this is a walking dead x male reader where you're a special ops member when the virus breaks out and this is a story of how you meet rick's group and then join them.
I was in the barracks my spec ops team stayed in and there were actually only four of us on our squad since we are the best and I along with my friends are wearing our spec ops uniform.
AN: the uniform looks like this:

I was putting on my combat shoes with my gloves on and when I turn to my team I saw them getting their guns from their cases already with Mike being our sniper having an RSASS with a silencer on it and a standard issue m9 also with a silencer on it, and James being Mike's spotter he has a m4a1 with a red dot sight and silencer and also m9 with silencer on it, then Gabriel or gab being my second in command he also has a m4a1 but with a holographic sight and foregrip and silencer with a silencer m9, and last but not the least I grab my trusty silenced scar H with a red dot and extended mag and foregrip and also a silencer m9 so basically we all have silenced weapons because we mostly go to stealth missions(AN hey guys also I am sort of bad at making descriptions of how OCs look like so I will give you the power to make them look however you want them to look like). And with us having our weapons we get out of our barracks heading to. Helicopter but then we hear gunfire in the base so we ready our guns and we see other people eating each other and when one approached us slowly and tried to grab me I bring out my m9 and shoot his head.
Mike: dude why did you do that?
YN: I had to and look *points at dead soldier* he looks different.
James nodded while Gabriel went to the helicopter and told the pilot to get ready so we get on the helicopter and we see other soldiers walking towards us so I order Gabriel to get on the 50. Cal and start shooting at them and he complied and once we got on a safe distance from the ground I tell the pilot to bring us to our warship the USS wasp the pilots then nodded and I sat with my team, mike was still shocked at what happened.
Mike: what do you think happened I mean we were just fine then the soldiers start eating each other and they look dead already.
Gab: uh guys you might want to see this.
We all look below us and see that it was total chaos down on the city below us.
Mike: what do you think is happening.
James: oh I know what's happening... zombie apocalypse.
YN: what James that... actually makes sense now I regret making you stop reading and watching about zombies.
James: I am always prepared.
Gab: you weren't prepared when that hot chick at the bar asked you out or was fainting a part of your plan of being prepared.
James:*rolls eyes* haha real funny.
Mike: are we really ignoring the fact that there is a zombie apocalypse happening right now?
James: you really like to be a buzzkill huh mike?
YN: ok calm down guys when we get to the USS wasp the general will tell us what to do.
They all nod and I just relax on the helicopter and take a nap.
Time skip
I woke up when I saw James firing his gun so with my reflex I jump up and join in the shooting I the notice that we are making a last stand on the helicopter on the USS wasp with gab and mike on one side and on my side it was me and James so while shooting I ask.
YN: what is happening?
James: when we landed we saw that some helicopters had infected in them and so the ship is now full of these things.
I nod and continue shooting precisely their heads with only having to use one bullet on each zombie I kill I then notice we started hovering and I look to see the pilot happy we are flying.
Pilot: thank god this thing started finally, sir where do we go?
Gab: head to Atlanta the general said it was a safe zone.
The pilot nods and we head to Atlanta I then look around me to see the others sitting there then the co-pilot spoke up.
Co-pilot: uh aren't you guys worried about family or friends or anything.
Mike: we are orphans we don't exactly have anyone but this team here to worry about.
Pilot: well that sounds sort of great.
Gab: yeah with us having to worry about our team we can feel sort of relieved that we stay together and fight together.
Everyone: hoorah.
I then look out of the helicopter's window and look at the sun setting and we had a long trip to Atlanta so my team and I just sit there in silence again still comprehending the fact that zombies are now real.
