Jaebum wiped his sweaty palms on his pants as he knocked on the Jackson's door, already hearing the music inside.
The door opened revealing Jackson, "Well it's about time you showed up!" Jackson exclaimed before looking at the man behind Jaebum. "Hey JinJin!" Jackson smiled but only to receive a death glare from the younger. "Don't call me that you stupid shit. So are you gonna let us in or not?"
Please don't let us in, Jaebum prayed mentally. He wished he could just run away from his spot right now, but it was too late. Jackson had already pulled them in. There were a bunch of teenagers drinking and dancing to the music but Jaebum didn't care, he knew that Jackson was the type to invite strangers to his party.
But that wasn't the one Jaebum was concerned about, he was nervous of having to meet Youngjae, basically his crush. In the midst of mental breakdown Jaebum felt a hand on his shoulder, almost punching the person due to being surprised. He sighed in relief when it was only Jackson.
"Never do that again," Jaebum said with a threatening voice. Jackson scoffed, "It's not my fault you weren't listening because you were too busy hyperventilating and spacing out" Jackson sassed only to receive a slap on the arm.
"Bitch, that hurt! Ugh, anyways, Youngjae's at my yard drinking grape juice. Go get your baby boy you dickhead" Jackson said before leaving the older alone with wide eyes. Jaebum was hoping Youngjae would be late or something, but nooo, the sunshine was already in the same house as Jaebum.
He didn't know what to do. Should he go? This is what he's been waiting for, meeting his internet crush but why is he suddenly chicken to go? Before he knew it, He was already at the doorway to the backyard, staring at the younger who was alone drinking grape juice, while watching other people have fun.
He sighed. He opened the sliding door, hesitantly, he went over to the younger. 3 steps away from Youngjae, he turned around, chickening out. Unfortunately, he stepped on a twig which alerted the other that someone was near him. He jerked his head towards the noise and faced Jaebum's stiff back.
Youngjae tilted his head sideways in confusion. "Uh, H-hey?" He stuttered, mentally facepalming for being so awkward. Slowly, Jaebum turned around, his cheeks painted red.
Youngjae narrowed his eyes, trying to remember who he is. When he did, he blushed instantly. "O-Oh! Jaebum, right..?"
Jaebum nodded shyly, looking down on his feet making Youngjae chuckle. "Well, do you want to come with me? I'm getting tired of drinking juice," Youngjae asked making Jaebum flustered.
"Ofcourse" Jaebum said barely in a whisper, making Youngjae smile at the older's shyness. He got up and held the other's hand, making Jaebum's cheeks more red.
"There's a park near here. Let's go!" Youngjae smiled, showing Jaebum his signature sunshine smile. Even though Jaebum was beyond happy, he was still flustered and nervous.
'Today's gonna be a long day..' Jaebum thought.
