they both stared at each other, shocked. everything happened so fast that they couldn't get a grip of what had just happened. once they did, their first move was to pull away.
youngjae fell off the couch, groaning once his back hit the floor. jaebum was too shocked to move as he stared into space, wondering what just happened. once he was back into his senses, he sat up, looking at youngjae, worried.
"are you okay?" jaebum asked. youngjae hummed as an answer. "i'm sorry, i was just- i, uh- you were gonna fall-"
"no, it's okay" youngjae cut him off. "it's fine, really." youngjae continued, yawning at the end. jaebum stared at youngjae's tired figure, before standing up. youngjae was startled when jaebum carried him bridal style. due to being scared, youngjae wrapped his arms around jaebum's neck before jaebum started walking towards youngjae's room.
jaebum slowed down his steps once he was near youngjae's room. he opened the door, going in and closing the door behind. jaebum opened the lights, briefly looking around youngjae's room. youngjae's mind was clouded with thoughts. well, he is alone with jaebum, in his room..at night..
'oh god, i shouldnt have watched that series netflix recommended me' youngjae thought.
carefully, jaebum placed youngjae down on his bed. jaebum stood up straight and was about to walk off when youngjae grabbed his sleeve. "hyung, don't leave.", youngjae said, more like he pleaded.
jaebum chuckled. "i'm just going to close the lights." youngjae narrowed his eyes at jaebum before slowly letting go. jaebum went to close the lights then back to youngjae's bed. jaebum went on the bed, crawling beside youngjae. he laid down, covering the both of them with a blanket.
the two stared at the ceiling for a long time, thinking. both had different thoughts. jaebum was wondering if the younger had fallen asleep, mean while youngjae was hesitating if he should tell jaebum. but his mouth ignored youngjae's doubts when he unconsciously called jaebum.
"hyung," youngjae softly said. jaebum hummed, staring at the glow in the dark stars youngjae had in his ceiling. youngjae gulped, "j-just so you know, that was my first kiss." he stuttered.
jaebum thanked that it was dark, or else youngjae would see how red he was. after a few seconds, jaebum spoke. "i'm glad."
youngjae smiled, "good night, hyung." jaebum closed his eyes. "night, jae."
silence.
jaebum's eyes shot open when he felt youngjae pecked his cheeks. "sleep well, hyung" youngjae said, turning around, his back now facing the flustered jaebum.
