I awoke in a strange room with two people in the room. One was a medical man and the other was someone who looked familiar but I couldn't quiet remember who it was though but I heard them talking "So is it done?" The medical man asked to the other "Yes.." He answered somewhat sadly I wonder why...."He's woken up." The doctor said suddenly ending the silence that had filled the room "What?! Already? But you said he'd be awake tomorrow not today or right now!" The other man said sounding astonished "I can't help that now but it might be better that your here to explain." The doctor responded placing a hand on his shoulder before walking off and leaving just me and the other man. "Uhh hey dew." he said with obvious struggle "Wait is that my name?" I asked "Yes,well it's actually Honeydew but you let me call you Dew because we're friends and I'm Xephos." The man said introducing himself 'Friends? With him? Boy,I had better remember why then...' I thought slowly nodding "Anyways we're in yoglabs basically a place that we run together and experiment on stuff!" He explained lighting up with joy hoping I'd remember and slowly I did but I had to ask a question "Xephos was it?" and he nodded "How did I get like this? How come I hardly remember anything?" I asked and then saw something like snap inside him because his smile suddenly faded and a frown replaced it "Uh you fell from a high place and well you went into a comatose state where you lost your memory and now I basically just caught you up to the present." He explained slowly as if hiding something. "Uh okay so now what?" I pondered "Well I heard Fumblemore had something he wanted to show us." He responded lighting up again "Great you lead the way." I replied smiling.
___________Later___________
"Xeph? Xeph?" I called looking around Yoglabs it was late at night and time to go home but Xephos had run off somewhere and I couldn't find him anymore no matter where I looked until I decided the company break room might be it where I heard sobbing coming from inside. He was there looking at a picture of us smiling as a castle burned down in the background 'Wasn't that the time we defeated Israphel?' I thought moving silently "Where has time gone?" He muttered putting the picture away then I knew something was up but I let it go as I walked over to him "Where were you?" I asked which seemed to startle him "Oh uh just catching up with an old friend." He responded faking that smile of his. "Alright well we should go since it's time to go home." I said smiling too "Great I'll uh catch up you go on ahead." He told me. "No I'm not leaving your side." I defied him which again seemed to surprise him but he gave in "Alright come on." he muttered with a smirk.Not a fake one but a real one. "Oh and in a real answer to your question I guess I was too far away." He said suddenly.
