Chapter 10: A Bitter Day

*~~Chase's POV~~*

I woke up to see Alice in my arms...why are we on the sofa? My head hurts like hell, did I drink last time. Memories of yesterday came flooding through my mind. Oh...I guess I did drink...oh crap.

Crap. Crap. Crap!

I made out with Alice yesterday and almost deflowered her! Oh dear, how could I have done such a thing? A groan escaped from my mouth and I saw Alice's nose twitching. Alice truly is beautiful. She looks so relaxed as she sleeps.

"I'll give you a stable relationship, darling."

Crap! Did I really say that? What if she remembers? I stare down at Alice once more...you know...it's not bad. I actually want to have a stable relationship with her. I felt my cheeks heat up...my first girlfriend could be Alice. Alice, my first girlfriend. Me, her boyfriend. A smile played on my lips. The boyfriend title is better than the best friend title.

Alice moves a bit, soon enough, her eyes flutter open.

"Hi." Alice whispers to me.

"Hi." I whisper back.

"This is really comfortable." Alice whispers, as she snuggles up to me a bit more. Uh, she should not do that. Alice might just wake up a special someone down there. Especially since thoughts of yesterday's night still linger in my mind.

I wrap my arms tighter around her and whisper, "Yeah it is. Why are we whispering, Darling Chainz?"

Alice lets out a laugh, "I really don't know."

I smile down at her as she laughs, "About last night..."

Alice's laughter faded and her smile did, too, "It's fine. Let's forget it---"

"I want a stable relationship with you."

I feel Alice tense up. She looks up at me with wide eyes. "Chase..."

"Look I know my reputation is not all that great. But..."

Alice gets up, "Sorry Chase, maybe that alcohol is still clouding your brain. You should sleep a little more. Jack, Sam, and I are going to open Darling Chainz. The rain seems to be much lighter."

My jaw tightens as I watch her go. I clench my fist and unclench it.

First woman I try to ask out, I get shot down. Heh. A small smile plays on my lips and I cover my eyes with my arm. So much for being her boyfriend and having an actual girlfriend. Oh dear, I'm actually tearing up.

F*****g hell.

It's f*****g 10, and all I've done is one assignment, buy some groceries, and watch TV all day. Maybe I should get some drinks...get drunk and all. Maybe I'll get laid too, even though I rather Alice be my partner, but a rejection is a rejection.

F**k it, it's not me lying around moping over a rejection. I quickly grab my jacket, shove my boots on and head to Darling Chainz.

The music was pumping throughout the club and more people came in, since it was 'club time.' It's been ten minutes since I've sat around and drowning drinks, but I haven't seen Alice around. I was drowning down some drink when some woman put her hand on my arm.

The woman brought her mouth closer to my ear and whispered in a seductive voice, "Hey sexy, if you're looking for some fun, I'm available."

A grin made it's way on my face, "What's your name sweets?"
