The morning was bright and beautiful but the woods made me feel cold and as if someone were watching me through the trees. We ran the rest of the way home, and when we got there we passed out on the couch. Hours later my friend's mom came to get her and she went. I got up, showered, changed then ran down the street to my guy friend's mother's house. I asked her about if there were any news about her son, she said nothing new then I asked her if he had escaped. She went silent then ran to the door locked it and sat back down. She leaned over the table and said, "How did you know?" I told her about last night and the barn. She told me to go home and when I was leaving I turned and said, "If you go watch yourself or go with several armed people, he is truly mad." I ran back home and just laid in bed until my guy friend called and we talked about Halloween night. Things went back to normal for months just as they were before we all hung out and chatted at the time.

The Barn
HorrorSpooky and thought provoking, a story of teen fun that goes down the tubes because of a childhood terror. The death of a town and a teen's psyche as madness washes over the sane.
