Dissapointing Announcement

Greetings readers,

I'm very sorry to say that I will be cancelling The New Response. This is not a choice that I make lightly, I know that there was an impressive following for this AU that I never expected. Even now, I always get new followers that are paying close attention for updates, and were excited to see how The New Response would continue this story. Im sure many of you wanted to see the reuniting of Sabine and Ezra, which I did plan. Believe me, I did. But these moments aren't enough for a story, the substance I could come up with was non-existent. I've been developing this story for over a year, and had produced over a half-hundred chapters each typically 4000-6000 words. My mind had become totally blank on how to proceed. To be honest, the only fuel driving my forward in this fic was reader request. But that could only get me so far. Writing fanfiction and literature in general has no longer become a passion for me. As a English student at university, it is now my life. And I am now completely burnt out on doing this particular story.

Again, I'm sorry. I know this will be disappointing. But I think it's better that you remembered the story for how it was in Teenage Response rather than me trying to drag it on with The New Response. Even Season 4 of Rebels couldn't get me engaged in continuing. This isn't it for Star Wars and Sabine, though. This particular AU is over, and so is any more full-fledged stories. But my passion for Sabine and the canon universe is still there. Ezrabine for example, is still something you can see from me. In what form, I'm not sure. I think the likely step for me now is one-shots, where I don't have to worry about continuity and can give you the good stuff in one jab without loads of filler (because honestly that's what most of Teenage Response was, and The New Response consisted of that entirely). It's time for me to start fresh, that will give me my interest again as a fanfic writer.

For the last time, I'm very sorry for any disappointment this may cause. But I ask for your continued optimism for the future. There will be a new project at some point, open for requests and advice.
