Freshman homecoming,
my welcome into a new school, a new age
the night of my life, for that year.
It was doomed from the start.
he was a senior, with false intentions.
He expected something in return,
something that wasn't his to take.
he poured drinks down my throat, making me feel bad if i refused.
the last one he gave me was different, fogging my mind.
He took me to his car.
Forcing himself on me, fighting me,
pinning me helpless.
I screamed, I cried, it just excited him.
He ripped my floral underwear,
forced himself into me, raping me.
He left me standing there, in the parking lot.
ripped clothes, blood and semen running down my leg.
I was frozen,
he took what he wanted, without any form of permission,
without any thought of the aftershock.
'cause he got what he wanted,
while i was left trying to pull myself back together.
I was left, stripped of my pride, left naked to the world
and i went home
i kept my mouth shut,
it was my fault.
