The assassins dressed in red also weren't people that were easy to deal with, for a while all that was seen were the glint and flash of daggers and knives until a strong blast pummelled forward and before anyone could react the cold silver light flashed past.

One after another the heads of the assassins dropped to the ground and the woman's pure white coat was dyed red by the crimson blood, some of which were the enemies and some were her own.

Looking at the blood flowing out of the hole in her body, the woman raised an eyebrow and let out a smile that made stars lose their colour compared to her. Her swift figure appeared in front of the next assassin like a ghost and with a wave of her hand, his life came to an end.

Phantom, the Mo family shadow group's number one assassin known for her ghost like footwork and reaction time, if she wanted to kill someone no one would be able to live to see another day.

What the Mo family didn't expect was the knife that was supposed to protect their own family's safety was ultimately used to point at their own throats.

Looking at the ten assassins who were completely wiped out, the woman smiled in victory as her body collapsed. She fell heavily onto the ground and blood flowed out unceasingly.
After her parents death she was sent to the shadow group from the age of seven because of her amazing talent.

At the same time the Mo family took away her name and wiped out her existence. She knew that her parents were murdered and she vowed for revenge.

After thirteen years of struggling at deaths door she had finally achieved it.

Originally there was nothing more she cared about but an unexpected meeting with a little boy had made brought light back into her life.

The boy that had originally been her target, despite the fact that he was just a kid, the sorrow and indifferent look in his eyes were as if he had experienced generations and generations of changes.

Those feelings like thread had entwined her lightly and softly, unable to wipe away and unable to let go.

Her already dry and withered heart had once again developed something she yearned to do, she wanted to wipe away the sorrow in his eyes.
She crawled towards the boy with difficulty and took out a pill, "hey, this is the antidote once you eat it you'll be fine."

The boys face had already been dyed red by blood but the indifference in it had made her sympathise with him even more.

"What about you?" He asked gently, you already know that I am immune to poison why would you still...

"I'll be okay" she said gently, smiling weakly, her eyes were filled with happiness. This was the first time in five years he had responded to her.

Despite knowing that he was immune she still gave the last pill to him. It might have been because she didn't want him to experience that kind of pain again. She knew that despite that he was immune to all kind of poison every month all the poisons that he had been poisoned with before would all act up at once making him feel pain that was worse than death.

She didn't want to see him in such pain and resistance

The boy shook his head resolutely , his bloodless lips closed tightly.

She was the first person that was nice to him not because of his special abilities, even though he didn't know why she hadn't given him over to the shadow group, in the past five years of escaping no matter how injured she was she had never used his blood to heal herself.

Her persistence had made his heart that hadn't moved for the past hundred's of years shake.

That kind of feeling was like a warm wind blowing past his soul making him at loss at what to do.

He knew that the special abilities of his body all came from his eyes, those pitch black eyes held power that could destroy the world.

If he was considered the only warmth in her life, she would also be the ray of light saving him from the darkness.

Once again the sound of footsteps was heard, the woman creased her eyebrow and turned over pushing the boy away. In an instant a sharp dagger was stuck straight into the woman's chest and a crimson red pattern blossomed on the woman's snow white coat.

Regardless of the boys objection, using all the energy she had left she pushed the pill into the boys mouth, and almost crazily screamed "Go!"

A mouth of black blood spurred out from her lips, her black hair falling to the ground filled with blood from her actions like a black lotus in the fire of revival.

Using the last of her energy she looked towards the boy. His beautiful face had not changed at all in the five years, it was pure like a cool spring at the beginning of time.

Did she regret her decision?

No, even though she lost her life for this she didn't have any regrets.

From the first time that she had met him, those pair of black eyes had made her sink in uncontrollably.

Her only hope was that he would be able to receive redemption.

Smiling lightly she slowly closed her eyes.

Quiet as if she was only sleeping except she was no longer breathing.
