You broke me in.
You made me tough.
You showed me what beauty really was.
You taught me to cry.
You taught me to sigh.
You told me that not everyone lies.
You gave me hope.
You showed me how to care.
You pointed out that life isn't always fair.
You were sometimes mean.
You were sometimes cold.
You taught me there's more to life than what you can hold.
You made me humble.
You made me kind.
You made me learn these things from a thing called life.
