A few days earlier

"Hey, Lauren. It's almost time for you to collect Isabella. Do you want me to go for her? Or would you do it?" The black haired woman was taken a back as she had been buried in her work. She hadn't heard anyone come in.

"Oh. Hey Hailee. No it's okay. I'd go for her. I could do with getting out of the office. Would you like to come along?" Lauren asked her secretary who nodded 'yes' in response.

"Sure. I'd love to. I haven't seen the munchkin in quite some time," The secretary laughed softly.

Lauren shut off her laptop and collected her bags before exiting her office with her secretary. They walked in silence until they approached Lauren's black Audi A6 vehicle. Both women got into the car and drove off to the direction of Lauren's daughter's pre-school.

"So how are you and Camila doing? I know it's not any of my business but you seem stressed," the brown haired secretary said whilst looking at the side profile of her boss. "I mean, more stressed than usual," she chuckled but Lauren simply sighed and passed one hand through her hair whilst the other gripped the steering wheel.

"I don't know. She's just so busy. Whenever I call her, she can only talk for a few minutes and it's usually when Izzy is sleeping so she doesn't get to talk to her much," Hailee's boss sighed again.

Camila and Lauren had been married for five years now and had been dating since they were 16 and 17 respectively. Now at the age of 25 and 26 with their careers in full swing, they barely had any time for each other; mainly Camila who is a singer signed to Republic Records. She was currently recording her third studio album and recently ended her second world tour. Whilst her 4 year old daughter Isabella; who was currently in pre-school, was being taken care of by her other mother.

Lauren had her own photography company which was doing quite well.  She photographed models, weddings, baby showers, business parties. You name it.

"I'm sorry to hear that, Lauren. I really am," Hailee said sincerely. "Have you two ever thought about couple's therapy? I saw there was an ad out in the paper. It's literally not too far from the office. It sounds like a good idea. Maybe you and Camila would be able to rekindle your flame and get back to being that strong couple everyone admired," Lauren nodded along but Hailee wasn't even sure she had been paying attention.

"The doctor in charge of the whole thing is Dr Chelsea Briggs, she's a psychotherapist and I heard she's one of the best," Hailee rambled hoping that maybe her boss would consider it. She couldn't help but feel a bit guilty for contributing to what had happened between the couple. Well, she did contribute to what had happened. It was a moment of weakness that surely would never happen again.

Lauren sighed. "I don't think Camila would go for it. Honestly, I would do anything to save my marriage because I'm so in love with Camila but I don't know if she'd want to do the same, seeing as she has a busy schedule." The main reason for this was that every time she tried to spend any sort of time with her wife, something would come up. She'd always have a meeting or had to head to the studio to tweak a song.

Eventually, Lauren gave up because she thought that maybe her wife just simply didn't want to spend any time with her. And who could blame her after what she did? From being together for so long, it seemed as though they had lost the passion and intimacy that they once had many years ago. The cute conversations stopped, the "I love yous" were rare and their sex life had seriously just vanished over time, due to Camila's busy schedule. And the worst part was that Lauren and though she never mentioned it; Camila, did not know what to do to fix their marriage.
