"Hey," Lauren brushed a strand of hair out of Camila's face. "Are you okay?" Lauren studied her wife's facial features and she noticed that she wasn't looking too well. Camila had been feeling quite unwell these past few days, and she had shrugged it off saying it was the flu.

"I'm alright," Camila sighed and snuggled against her wife. "What are you working on?"

"Just some last minute work for a client," Lauren shut her laptop and placed it to the side of their bed. It had been almost a year into Camila's hiatus. Her fans had understood when she announced that she would be taking one because she had constantly been talking about spending more time with her family. Though, she had been working on some new music so that when she came off her hiatus, she would have stuff to release.

Izzy was attached to her by the hip. Literally, the mother - daughter duo did everything together and Camila did not mind, not one bit. This is what she wanted. She wanted to be there for the little moments in her daughter's life and she wanted to be a more supportive wife to Lauren.

"So," Lauren pulled Camila on her lap, slipping her fingers into her hair. "Do you happen to know just how much I adore you?"

Camila laughed, placing a lingering kiss on her wife's lips. "Mhm, I do. But I don't mind hearing it again."

Ever since they finished their therapy, and they renewed their vows, their relationship had only gotten a lot stronger. The bond between their families had also improved. Becky and Camila, couldn't have gotten closer even if they tried.

Becky had been accepted into Harvard and she was on her way to becoming an attorney and following in their father's footsteps. Well his career footsteps. Ain't nobody wanted to turn out to be a manwhore like him. Smh.

Valentina, although her home was empty now, Camila and Izzy had made sure that she never felt lonely. The child had constantly sought the permission of her parents to visit her grandmother.

As for the Jaureguis and their relationship, well, it was improving. It would take a lot of time for Mike to be the father that his daughters needed when they were younger, but he was trying. Clara as well.

Meanwhile, Maggie was doing a lot better emotionally. It seemed as though Ariana had taken her out of that dark abyss that she was in for so many years. Their relationship was only getting better and better. I failed to mention that they had moved in together. Not next to Lauren and Camila, because that would've been horrible, but they did buy a house together in Los Angeles, as they would be spending most of their time there. But they also had an apartment in New York so that whenever Maggie was there, she would have somewhere to stay when she was visiting her niece, because let's be honest, Izzy is Maggie's life.

"What I have with you," Lauren mindlessly played with her wife's fingers, "I wouldn't want this with anyone else. I'm not religious, but I thank God, every single day for you. I pray that this is only just our beginning."

Camila smiled at her wife's words. People say actions speak louder than words, but the thing is, words are sometimes louder, especially if you know the person is being sincere. She readjusted herself on Lauren's lap. "I love you so much. You're perfect." She kissed the side of Lauren's mouth and pulled back. "I have something to tell you..."

Lauren kinked an eyebrow. "I knew it," she sighed. "You're the one who dented my Cadillac? Camz, if you can't drive, you really shouldn't. We can hire a chauffeur for you or something."

Camila laughed, but then she realised, that she was laughing at herself and punched her wife. "Fuck you, Lauren! I told you already, I didn't hit your car. I've been getting a lot better anyway. Shawn has been teaching me a thing or two. Who's to say it wasn't you and your horrible driving?"
