Chapter 1 Rejection Hurts

(Adrien's POV)

"Today's the day Plagg." I said nervously. I could see the look that Plagg was giving me. "Adrien" He groaned. "What Plagg?" I replied half interested. He looked up at me when he said this "I know that you're planning on confessing to Ladybug."He paused for a moment while cringing terribly,"But you don't even know who she really is!" I looked at him with an obvious face to tell him that I already knew that then I said, "Yeah well Plagg my friend,that just makes me even more in love with her I mean she is so mysterious and secretive, stubborn and incredibly attractive I mean her eyes I just can't help but stare into them and get lost in a whole new world." Plagg interuppted. "Um Adrien you're making me feel very uncomfortable please just stop!" I looked at him while groaning. "Ugh fine Plagg but you're literally the only one that I can talk to about Ladybug." He didn't seem to care. " Eh kid just get some cheese that way you won't need women to be attracted to!" I laughed at him "Oh Plagg when will you learn that women smell way better than that smelly old cheese and they also can actually talk to you and comfort you through hard times." I looked at the time and realised that I was going to be late for patrol with m'lady then I completly flipped out. "OMG Plagg! I am going to be late for patrol!! "But my chee." His words faded as I said my usual phrase, "Plagg claws out!"

(Marinette's POV) (This was at the same time as Adrien was talking with Plagg)

"Tikki?" I said She peeked up at me from my desk "Yes Mari?" She replied with her cute sqeaky voice. "D do you think t that A Adrien w will ever n notice m me?" I said stuttering more than ever. I suddenly felt warm, oh great I thought I'm blushing. Tikki looked into my eyes she was obviously unsure of what to say it was almost as if she was hiding something. Suddenly she looked up cautiously. "Don't worry so much Marinette." I felt weird I mean could Tikki know infromation that I didn't? Oh gosh what if Adrien already had a girlfriend! And he was keeping quiet about it. That would be the day I officially dig my own grave! Oh great here we go again I'm overeacting and.... (I realised the time). "Oh lord!" I screeched "I am going to be late Chat won't be very purrleased with me." Oh no I made a cat pun but why? I suppose that doesn't really matter at the moment. "Tikki spots on yea!" I shouted happily as I usually would.

(Narrator)

Both Chat Noir and Ladybug were going as fast as they could to the place where they had patrol that morning little did they know what bitterness and coldness would await them very soon. Chat Noir loved his lady more than anything all he wanted was to be with her and for her to love him. Since he isn't really very social he is quite bad with the ladies so without the mask he just stays quiet but with his mask he is very flirtatious and very punny, Where as Ladybug seems very confident and strong but without her mask she is very nevous and shy but still very kind she wants nothing more than ever to be with her crush Adrien Agreste! Sadly he fails to notice her love for him and for now (Yep for now) he only sees Marinette as one of his best friends. But soon my dear audience that will change ;) so don't you worry!

(Chats POV)

I was using my baton to get across Paris, feeling more nervous than ever to see Ladybug would she love and accept me? Or reject me terribly and leave me heartbroken and akumatized?! I was so scared but realized Adrien you gotta man up dude! Then CRASH!

(Ladybugs POV)

Using my yoyo to swing across Paris,I felt free! In the mask I was comfortable to be bold and brave. I was a rolemodel to young boys and girls and that felt very great. I was hoping that Chat wouldn't flirt as much today I mean it is very flattering that he cares about me but I love Adrien. It would be much easier for the both of us if Adrien was Chat Noir but no he can't be! Or can h-. Before I could think any more I crashed.

(Narator)

Chat looked infront of him noticing that him and Ladybug had crashed into each other.She was laying underneath Chat and when he noticed he blushed really hard. Ladybug looked up only to see her crime fighting partner laying ontop of her and he was looking weird and as if he wanted her. "Um Chat Noir?" She said sounding very akward. "Yes m'lady?" He responded. "Would you be so kind as to get the heck off me?!" She said this with a glint of anger in her eyes. "Oh uh y yeah sorry m'lady" He said feeling like a pervert. Ladybug stormed away from him she thought that she felt no love for him but she deffinetly did how ever she was blinded by her love for Adrien.
