They were , kissing . No , no this can't be happening . He promised not to hurt me like this ever again !
I got up & wiped the tears out from under my eyes , and sniffed . I gathered myself & decided to leave my stuff at Hayes's house .
I thought this girl was nice , I mean , did she even know I was dating him ? Or , whatever was going on .
I walked outside , & across the street to Maceys .
I knocked & waited there . I looked like an idiot . I was in my sweatpants & a blue sweatshirt with a messy - messy bun . 👋 I had tear streaks down my face , & my eyes were bloodshot .
She opened the door , & let myself in her house & went to the fridge & got some lemonade .
Her moms homemade lemonade .

She walked in the kitchen & sat down on the counter .
" What's wrong ? " she asked .
" My life , Hayes , cheated .. Or whatever .. I don't know , I don't even think the girl knew about us . But Hayes . EEWW . Why did I give him a chance ...? , I have spent he past 2 weeks skipping school .. My parents don't know .. I'm going to school Monday . But why did I even trust him . "
" I don't know , wanna stay over tonight ? " she offered .
" YAAAASSS " I shouted
She squealed & hopped off the counter and yelled " GIRLS NIGHTT "
And ran upstairs , then she came , running back downstairs with Blankets & her phone .
She ordered pizza , and we started watching the notebook .
I started crying at some points in the movie , I was thinking about Hayes .
The pizza guy came , and obviously had our pizza . She payed & we grabbed the pizza & went back to the couch to finish the movie . I fell asleep after 2 pizzas .

The next morning , I went home & then texted Macey , to have her wake up , knowin where I was .
I gathered myself .
I plugged in phone & started getting dressed .
I'm going to school tomorrow
I'm starting over .
Putting the past behind me .
I got dressed in a white lace crop-top , & some jean shorts . I put on a thin grey belt , & some boots on . I then went in the bathroom & brushed my teeth & did my makeup
I walked downstairs & slipped on my floral knockoff- vans grabbed my keys . ( Ayee , just pretend in this book they are old enough to drive )
I drove to the mall , & pulled up , into the movie theatre . I was meeting my friends .
Finally time to be away , from the boys .
