After the ceremony, Angie and Kc arrived. When they entered the room and saw me, they both looked down, looking scared because they knew I could feel upset for them leaving me behind. But it's okay though, after what just happened between me and Lizbeth, how could it be not okay.
I stood up and met them in the middle of the room. They both halted, still looking down. They looked up at me with their lips pouted and their puppy eyes in display.
Ugh, really. These idiots. They were surprised when I pulled both of them for a hug. I pulled away with a grin on my face.
Their eyebrows met and they glanced at each other.
Then I went back to sitting in my place. They quickly followed and sat close to me. I can see they still have no idea why I'm grinning like crazy right now.
Then I glanced at Lizbeth and caught her staring at me. She quickly looked away and Darlyn nudged her by the shoulder, teasing Lizbeth about something. I can see Lizbeth blushing and looking down her lap.
"Okay, explanation, now." Kc and Angie both demanded in unison.
I looked at them, my eyebrows meeting because of confusion.
"Don't give us that look. And do you think we didn't notice that flirty gaze you just had with Liz?"
"So, explanation, NOW." They commanded again. They're so lucky I'm in a great mood.
"Well..... they broke up." I started.
"Then?"
"Then I now have a chance."
"How?"
"She broke up with him because of me."
"Why?"
"Because I'm way better than him."
"You sure?"
"Yeah. Hundred percent."
They suddenly grew silent. They looked at each other then stood up abruptly.
Kc held out her hand to Angie.
"I won. Gimme."
"Wait, no, not yet." Angie protests.
"What do you mean? I clearly wo-"
"No! Lizbeth's not Audrey's girlfriend yet." Angie cuts Kc off.
What the fu-!
"Did you guys just made a be-"
"No!" Both of them protests in unison cutting my words off.
Ugh, these idiots. They really made a bet huh? Again, they're so lucky they're my best friends.
After a few hours, the bell rings and it's lunch time.
Finally, I'm so hungry. I stood up and Kc and Angie follows. I started walking towards the door when Liz blocks my way.
"What? Are you going to leave me behind again?" She suddenly complains, acting like a kid with a pout on her face.
"Huh?" I was confused.
"You never go to lunch with me though." I added.
"Well, from now on, we will go eat lunch together." She said and turns around and starts walking away.
I just stood still then she suddenly stops walking.
"What? Come on now! I'm hungry and Darlyn's waiting for me." She complains again.
I just nodded at her and started walking with Kc and Angie beside me.
The three of us walks a step behind Liz, we even look like we're her bodyguards or something.
As we were walking to the cafeteria, Reida appears out of nowhere, standing in front of me causing me to halt from walking and look at her.
"Hi." She greeted shyly.
"Hey." I greeted back with a smile on my face.
"Drey." Both Kc and Angie called causing me and Reida to look at them. I just nodded once at them and they started walking again, following Lizbeth who seems clueless of what's happening behind her, she just kept on walking until she arrives in the cafeteria.
Then there was just me and Reida.
She suddenly looks down shyly then looks back up at me with another shy smile, blushing profusely.
