Prologue

Your pov.

Age Five...

"(Y/n) wake up. " I heard someone say. I woke up to see my mom. "Oh thank goodness your okay. When I saw them hurt you I thought... " she cut herself off. I was full of cuts, and bruises. My clothes were old, and torn up. My hair was a mess, and I had no shoes. My mom was the same. I gave her a smile.

"Mommy. " I said quietly.

"Oh my sweetheart you always have a smile on no matter what. Every time you smile, you give others hope, and put a smile on their faces, the flowers bloom every time you smile, and when you laugh. Don't let anybody take away that smile, laughter, or joy. No matter what. " she said. I didn't know what she meant by that but I just nodded my head. I peeked out the window and saw a guy pull out a gun. My mother noticed, and covered my ears. But I saw when they shoot the guy in the head. He just fell and my eyes widened. "Come on let me tell you a story. " she said and sat me down away from the window.

"Tell me mommy, tell me. " I said quietly with my eyes full of wonder.

"There are powerful kind people called wizards. There are ice wizards, celestial wizards, and so many others. One of the most powerful wizards are the dragon slayers. Although nobody actually knows if they are wizards or not. But celestial wizards have keys to summon celestial spirits from the other world. There are many guilds for these wizards to work at. " she said and I cut her off.

"Mommy." I said.

"Yeah? " she asked.

"I want to become a wizard one day, to help others, to save all these people." I said quietly with my eyes full of wonder.

"You will be the best wizard ever. " she said. She looked out the window and grabbed my arms. "Come on. " she said. We ran out of the place and into the forest. We heard footsteps behind us. I looked back to look at my mother. "Don't look back, ran as fast as you can. " she said. I nodded and ran the fastest my feet could take me. I sorta liked running. I smiled and looked around.

"Did you see that mommy? " I asked fill of joy. "We are... Free. " I said. All I heard was silence, and a gun shoot. My eyes widened. I didn't know where I was. "Momma? " I asked. I looked behind trees, and walked around. "Momma. " I said. "Momma!! " I shouted, but still no answer. I just cried. And then I heard footsteps. I looked up and saw blue eyes. "A-are you going to eat me? " I asked.

"Now why would I do that child? Why are you out here all alone? Where are your parents? " I looked at it closely and saw that the dragon had light blue eyes, I tried to look at it's body but saw nothing. It was to dark to see anything.

"I-I don't know. " I said quietly.

"Come with me child. " the dragon said. "Climb on my back. " the dragon continued. I climbed on it's back and he started to fly. I was holding on really tight to him.

Time skips...

We landed and walked I side a cave.

"Is this where you live? " I asked.

"Yes, I'm sorry if it's not how you thought it would be. " he said.

"It's alright. As long as you have a roof over your head it's fine. No matter how it is. " I said and gave him a smile. We went inside the cave and he made fire. "Wow. " I said with a smile, my eyes full if curiosity. I just heard him chuckle.

"You have the sweetest smile I've ever seen. I've been alone for so long. But seeing you smile makes me smile. " he said.

"The last thing my mommy told me was that I always have a smile on no matter what. Every time I smile, I give others hope, and put a smile on their faces, the flowers bloom every time I smile, and when I laugh. That I shouldn't let anybody take away my smile, laughter, or joy. No matter what. " I said.

"Well your mother is right. " he said. Then all of the sudden he made the fire brighter. I looked full of amazement. I looked at him and saw him a light blue color.

"What type of dragon are you? " I asked.

"I am a fire, ice, air, lighting, crystal, water, and light dragon. I'm the only one of my kind. Not a lot of people have heard about me. " he said.

"What's your name?" I asked.

"My name is Aarakocra" he said.

"Wow that's and awesome name! " I said full of excitement.

"What's your name? " he asked.

"I'm (y/n)." I said.

"Well (y/n) I'd like to ask you something. " he said.

"What is it? " I asked.

"One you have the nicest name I've ever heard. And second, will you like me to teacher you how to use my magic? " I asked. My eyes widened.

"Really?! " I asked shouting.

"Yep, so what do you say? " he asked.

"Alright. " I said. "Your the best dad! " I shouted. Then I just what I said. My eyes widened. "I-I'm sorry. " I said looking down.

"It's alright my daughter. " he said. I looked at him and hugged him.

"Alright let's do this. " he said. Out came an orb from him and it changed colors. I stuck out my hand and it floated on my hands. I closed my hands and opened them to see the orb gone. "Now that the first part is done let's train you. " he said. He walked out and so did I. We started training.

Months later...

We we're in the cave and I ran after him. Then when I thought I got him he vanished. My eyes got teary and I sat down. Tears ran down my cheeks.

"Dad. " I said and no answer. "It's the same with my mom all over again! " I shouted.

Present day...

Many guilds are looking for me. Why, you ask? Mostly because I saved a little girl from being a sacrifice for dark magic. And yeah I destroyed their guild. So they are all trying to look for me. They only know that I have fire magic. So yeah I'm a dragon slayer.

When I took the little girl to her house. Her parents came running out. When they hugged her I looked down, and vanished. They looked around, but were confused. I went to the forest. I went in one of the deepest parts of the forest. I climbed on a tree, and laid down on a branch. Seeing the girl with her parents made me miss my mother and my father. Hopefully my mother is in a better place. And I never stop wondering where my father went.
