Mirae woke up the next morning just to be shaken by the fact that her mobile phone is missing.

She checked every corner of her room but there's still no trace of her phone.

"Oh come on. I took care of you for like years and this is how you're repaying me?!"

Mirae sat on the bed, not knowing what to do. She groaned in frustration.

"Mirae you're late for school!" Her mom shouted from downstairs.

"I'm coming I'm coming!"

She went downstairs and grabbed her lunch box, running towards the door. There, her mom was already waiting for her in the car.

Usually, her mom or her dad would always drive her to school and she would walk back home.

"Mom..." She trailed.

"Hmmm?"

"I lost my phone."

"You what?! Han Mirae why are you so careless?" Her mom questioned her.

"Don't worry I think I left it in my locker. So if there's anything for you to know, I'll reach you through Junyi's phone." She convinced her mom. She's lucky that her mom bought her lies.

'I'm so dead' Her mom dropped her at the school gate and drove away.

She walked into her class and as expected, everyone was waiting for her to spill the tea.

'Ah, another problem. How do I escape from them without getting called a liar or a coward? Come on think Han Mirae.'

She plopped herself down on her seat and as soon as she did that, everyone gathered around her place.

"So how was it Mirae?" 'It was horrible'

"Did you have nightmares yesterday?" 'Nawh, I slept well last night.'

"Did you take pictures?" 'I sure did honey.'

"Did the ghost show up?" 'Well, I'm not quite sure about that.'

But Mirae couldn't answer those questions because she had no proof. All because she lost her phone.

"Guys." She started. No one heard her instead they were flooding her with questions.

"Guys!" The whole classroom was in pure silence. "Chill. I didn't go to the building yesterday okay? I lost my phone."

Some were disappointed and some just went back to their own seats. "Pfftt you should have told us you're scared. Don't have to make things up." Joo Hyemi insulted her.

'If only they knew the truth'

Mirae sighed and stood up to face Hyemi.

"Listen Hyemi honey. I lost my freaking phone. How do you expect me to take pictures of the building when I don't have a phone?" The whole class fell into silence and so did Hyemi.
