Jace POV

 "I don't care if she hate's me, I have to see her." I yelled.

"Dude you scared her yesterday. How do you think she will react when you try telling her it wasn't a dream what happened yesterday. I'll tell you. She will hate you and probably never forgive you for keeping a secret like that." Devon said.

"She won't hate me. She loves me to much. I can't stand not being near her anymore. I love her too much to let her go. I can protect her. I can make her like me if she want's to." I said.

"Your only hurting her. How can you protect her if you keep going out late at night instead of being near her. Can't you see she is suffering because of you? You have to let her go man. Okay what if you told her? How do you think she will feel? I highly dout she likes you like that bro. She told me herself the only person she could love more than a friend would be your brother." 

"i can't let her go. Where would she go? Her parents are dead and i'm the only one she trusts. She doesn't love my brother I would know because I can see what she thinks about most of the time. Her mind is always on me wondering if I love her or not. Yes I love her but I don't know how to tell her what I am." 

Allee walked into the kitchen and seen me leaning against the counter holding my side. 'What the hell did you do to yourself? Who's parents died? She asked.

I just stares at her in shock that she heard all that. "Im fine I just jabbed my side into the edge of the table and I can't tell you who's parents died because I promised them I wouldn't."

"Promised? Who the hell did you promise?

"I just can't tell you. Can you promise not to ask me please?" I begged.

"I can't promise you that." 

"Why can't you promise me?" 

"I can't because you promised to tell me everything and right now you're breaking that promise." 

"I'm sorry Lea. I just can't tell you." 

"Fine then. You have to chose between being my friend or breaking the promise and not being my friend. " 

To say I was shocked was an understatement but to tell me to chose being her friend and not just so I can protect her is hard. If I choose to be her friend then she still might hate me or if I choose breaking the promise over her. I just don't know what to do. My god i'm turning into a girl dealing with this. I have to think about this. "I have to think about protecting you and you wanting me to choose between being your friend or not?" I said after minute.

"That right there proves that you would rather break the promise." 

"I'm not breaking the promise. I'm going to tell you when the time is right and you are safe." 

"When will the time be right? I am safe." 

"I dont know. You aren't, people are after you." 

"Who is after me?"

"I can't tell you." 

"That just proves that you don't trust me." 

"Everything will be revealed in due time" Devon said. I forgot he was still in the room.

"Oh, Hey Devon" She said smiling.

"I must be going. See you sometime soon Allee."

She smiled and said "Bye. See ya."
