I woke up to pressure on my stomach and shoulder. I I open my eyes to see Daniel resting his head on my shoulder and Jonahs head lying on my lap, I pick up Jonahs head in attempt to get up without waking anyone up. I succeed and trudge into the kitchen. As I start to make breakfast I hear someone phone start to ring and whispers coming from the living room, I mind my own business and continue cooking. As I finish placing everything onto the table footsteps approach the door to the kitchen and barge through it, smelling the food I have made. "You're the best" says the tall blue eyed boy walking over and giving me a hug, leaving no space in between us. "You're the bestest" I whisper, standing on my tippy toes to reach his ear. I hear Daniel chuckle as we come apart from the hug. We both sit down and enjoy breakfast together.
*Daniels POV* "I should probably head home now guys," Macy says grabbing her stuff. "Okay" I says with a frown, knowing this was one of my last times seeing her for a while. The boys and I are going on tour, I have no idea how I am going to tell her. If I tell her. I walk her out the door, as we wait for her Uber to arrive I wrap my arms around her waist and pull her closer to me. I kiss her forehead and trail my lips down to hers. I give her a long, light kiss and hug her tightly after that. "I love you" I say, "I love you too Daniel" after our moment the uber arrives and she gets in the car. I wave and smile, not wanting her to leave. After the vehicle pulls away I walk into the house with my head hung low, "it'll be ok bud" Jack says patting my back. "You will see her again" I nod, "I know- I know but I didn't tell her, I don't know how" Jack looked at me for a while. "Y-you didn't tell your girlfriend you were going on tour?" I shake my head no, "Daniel you are now a busy man, I have a plan." He drags me into the kitchen, and sits the both of us down at the counter. "Go to her house in a tuxedo, a bouquet of red roses, as gross as it may seem bring her a box of chocolates, and buy 2 promise rings. Take her out on a date, a fancy one. Give one to her, have her promise to not move on while we are on tour, and you won't move on from her either. Then bring her here and cuddle with her all night, sing to her. Show her how much you care. And go on from there" I nod, in awe by his plan. "Now go on call her" I stepped away from the table and went into my room and searched through my closet while calling her, my phone pressed in between my shoulder and head using both my hands to move the clothes around. D: Hey Macy M: Hey Dani D: are you busy tonight? M: no, I'm not why? D: would you like to go on a date with me? M: yes, yes I would D: I will pick you up at 630, dress- fancy M: ok Daniel, I can't wait
I could feel her smile through the phone. After the call ended I quickly found my suit and fold it and place it on the edge of my bed, I walk out the door.
I set the roses on the counter, "$7.89" I hand the old woman my card and pay for the red roses. After I put them in my car I walk across the street to Walmart. My body slips through the automatic glass doors as they are about to close. "Good afternoon" I say to the man waiting at the front of the store. He nods, I head straight to the candy isle to get the box of chocolates. I pick out one that is in a shape of a heart and is filled with chocolate truffles. I smile at my decision and quickly rush over to the jewelers.
"Need help?" I get asked by the young lady behind the counter, I give her a gentle smile. "Yes please" I start. "I am getting a promise ring for me and my girlfriend and I don't know what to pick" she waved her hand over, signaling me to follow her. "How about any of these?" She asked, "Do you know what size she is?" I hesitate for moment. "6" I answer she nods and pulls out 2 sets of rings.

They were both adorable, in my opinion. But I feel like Macy would like the Now & Forever one best. So that is what I purchased. "Thank you" I say, I walk away and go home to change, in the car I call the restaurant and place a reservation.
I quickly changed into the tuxedo I had picked out earlier that afternoon and put it on. Finally I grabbed my bow tie and tied it around my neck, I adjusted my hair to meet my standers in the mirror. I step out of the house and onto the mat outside our house and take a deep breath before entering the car, reaching over to the passenger seat making sure my purchases won't fall in the process if driving. I slip my ring onto my finger and slowly back out of the drive way and insert my phone into the AUX cord and shuffle my spodify playlist.
As I pull up to her driveway I prepare myself, I grab the roses and chocolate once the car is parked. I get out and slam the door behind me, I feel like I was walking up her steps for ages but when I reached the top step I knocked on the room suddenly remembering her parents don't want her dating, but before I can change my mind a woman opens the door. "Oh, hi" she asks looking behind her, "you are here because?" Personally I thought this comment was rude, "I am Daniel" I raise my eyebrow, "Macy's boyfriend" she shakes her head. "No, no you have to leave. I cannot have her dating" I lower my head for a moment to collect my thoughts, "I will treat her right. Trust me I will you are going to have to believe that I love your daughter so much" I rub my hand over my face. "I really do, but if you do not want me to take her out on a date can you at least give her these? Tell her their from me" I extend out my arm and handed the roses to Mrs. Wood. She doesn't take them, instead she steps aside and swings her arm signaling me to enter. I look at her with confusion, "bu- but you just-" she cuts me off. "I can tell you're a good kid Daniel. Now go take my daughter on a date" I smile and step into the house, I send Macy a text telling her I am here and inside her house. A few moments later she comes walking down the stairs. I could feel my jaw drop, woah, this is my girlfriend? She is absolutely stunning. "Thank you" I rub my hand behind my neck, "did I-?" "Yes" she nods. Behind me I hear her mother let out a small laugh. I take her hand and walk her out the door.
