I yell, a piece of wood came 0ff the spiraling stairs and fell right in front of her. Macy put her hands on my hands, I had my hands wrapped around her. I quickly scramble up a few stairs and place her down. "Jesus Christ Macy" I say into the crook of her neck, hugging her closely. She stays silent and just holds onto me. I go first down this time, making sure she won't get hurt, and we finish going down the stairs, carefully.
