Chapter 2

A/N: TO THE STORY!!!

(Ban's Pov)

My eyes widened as King shut his eyes and his breathing decreased.

"CAPTAIN!!!"

I slowly started to panic as King refused to move.

"Come on King, move or something!!!"

I looked up as the captain and the other sins ran over to me and an unconscious King. I slowly handed King over to Merlin as she reached out for him.

"What happened Ban?"

I took a deep breath, refusing to let the tears in my eyes fall.

"After me and King went into the forest we were picking ingredients when King screamed in pain and I rushed over to help him and he had a rattle snake biting into his hand, so I ripped it off and asked him if he was ok and he said he was fine, but when we were heading back to the tavern he started to sway back and forth and ended up falling unconscious."

Merlin nodded and touched his forehead.

"The venom from the snake is infecting him a lot quicker than it would for anyone else, we need to get him some help."

The captain nodded.

"But who can we ask for help? The only fairy to survive the destruction of the fairy realm is King."

Merlin sighed and stood up with King in her arms.

"I'll take us all back to my lab and try and find something in the books I have."

We all nodded and with a snap of her fingers we were in Merlin's lab. I watched carfeully as she set King down and went on a mad hunt to find some books to help her. I don't even know if Merlin has any books on fairies. The fairy realm was a mystery to everyone. No one messed with the fairy realm and no one dared to enter it. Well everyone but me. I entered the fairy realm and fell in love with King's sister, but that didn't last long. After awhile I realized I had feelings for King. Ever since then I always had my eyes on him. I soon forgot what I had felt for his sister. Yes she was nice and all, but I'll never see her again because she's dead. I snapped back into reality when Merlin cheered.

"I found out how to save him!"

Everyone cheered as Merlin read further into the book as she stood next to King. She sighed as she set the book down and looked at us.

"There's one problem though, I need someone to wake him up and keep him from retaliating."

The captain cocked his head.

"Why though?"

Merlin sighed and held the book up so we could see it.

"Unlike other species fairies have weak systems when it comes to poisons, if they are attack and get poison in their system it could be life threatening, but when properly removed they normally are fine and keep on living, but the only setback is that it causes them great pain when you remove the poison and according to this book some fairies retaliate and it could potentially kill them in the process."

The entire room fell silent. None of us wanted King to potentially die. Especially me. I don't know if I could live without King. I sighed and looked at the captain.

"What's the plan captain???"

His eyes flicked between me and King and back again. I could see the hope in his eyes dashed as he looked at King. I followed his gaze and gasped silently. King looks dreadful. The captain sighed and looked at all of us.

"Who wants to keep King from retaliating???"

I rose my hand and half smiled.

"I'm the only one who can't die, so why not???"

Merlin nodded and the captain sighed.

"Are you sure you want to do this Ban???"

I nodded and walked over to Merlin. Merlin half smiled and gave me the go ahead. I looked at King one more time before shaking him awake. King's eyes snapped open, but they weren't the golden brown ones i fell in love with. The were cross signs in gold.

"King??"

Before anyone could blink King was in the air floating way above us. I looked up at him and gasped. His normal calm and gentle smile was twisted into a smirk. I reached up towards him and smiled softly.

"Get down please."

King laughed a cruel and vicious laugh.

"You peasant folk are quiet funny."

Before anyone could move we were all on the floor in pain. I could hear King laughing as he made us scream in pain. Tears sprang to me eyes as i wondered what happened to King. The caring fairy we all knew and loved was gone. What happened to you King???

A/N Well that just happened......

Ban: King calm down its just a book.

King: BUT I WOULD NEVER HURT YOU OR THE OTHER SINS!!!

Ban: You never hurt me???

King: -Blushes- You know what i meant Ban....

Ban: Oh??? How cute.

Author Senpai: Relax King i have it all figured out. -runs around trying to think of how to continue story line-

King: Sure...

Author Senpai: GO KISS BAN OR SOMETHING AND LET ME WRITE!!!

Ban: I'm up for that.

King: I'm out.
