Prologue

"Tikki! Why didn't you wake me up earlier? I'm so late!" Marinette rushed around her room in a panic, almost late for school again.

"I tried to Marinette, but you're a deep sleeper. You didn't respond and I tried everything." Tikki answered the frantic ravenette.

Marinette grabbed her school bag and quickly snatched her purse as Tikki flew inside it, and rushed down the stairs, waving goodbye to her parents, and running out the door towards the school.

Marinette rushed through the entrance and up the stairs, and reaching the classroom just before the final bell.

"Hah... I... made it..! Huh..!" Marinette panted, sitting beside Alya at her desk.

"Girl, How many times does this make? I already lost count! You gotta wake up to your alarm more, alright." Alya chided her best friend.

"Easier said than done. I sleep right through them! How am I ever gonna be able to hear them?" Marinette answered her ombré haired best friend.

"Hey Marinette, are you alright? You look tired." Adrien asked in concern.

"Huh?! Adrien! I-I'm fine. Uh just almost late for school, that's all." Marinette stuttered.

"I'm glad that's all it was." Adrien answered kindly to the blushing ravenette. 'Am I really that intimidating to her. I've been trying to get to know her; be friendly and gentle toward her, yet she's still afraid of me. Nino and Alya always say it's nothing bad, but she only stutters when I'm around. I really want her to talk to me just like she does with everyone else. She's confident and brave around Chloe, and kind to everyone, and I want her to act the same around me. She's one of my closest friends...I just don't want her to hate me...'

"Alright everyone, class is about to begin. Please take your seats and..." Mrs. Bustier addressed the class only to be interrupted by a brilliant light enveloping the entire classroom. A moment later, the sphere of light disappeared, however, with the exception of Mrs. Bustier, the classroom of teenagers had simply vanished without a trace.

A.N. ~ Hello everybody! Its Sakura!

I'm so sorry for not updating these past few months, I've just graduated my senior year, and have a lot of free time to finish my stories.

For those who have read my first story, I am so sorry for not updating it, truth is I don't know what to write about that much, and I don't know much about romance or dating, so I've been having writer's block on how to make the story not seem so rushed. If you guys want you can comment on what should happen next in the story, I'd sure be grateful for your ideas and inspiration.

I've also been writing a couple other fanfictions about other fandoms, and am creating more as I update my new stories.
