I hang out at Liza's house until about 9 pm, but by the time I realize it's that late, I look at my phone, and it has been blown up with texts from my mom and Gabbie. I tell her I have to go.

"You shouldn't walk alone at night." She says before I can leave.

"It's fine. I am not letting you walk me home, if that's what you are implying." I smirk.

"No, I am driving you." Liza says as she grabs what I guess are her keys off of the counter.

We walk into her garage and my mouth drops.

"No fucking way..." I say. I can't believe this.

"What?" Liza freaks out, thinking there is a spider or something.

"You have a Tesla?! And you didn't tell me?" I smile, but am still in awe.

"Yeah, why?" She say nonchalantly.

"This has been my dream car for so long! You lucky ass!" I play around.

"Let's go..." she says, gesturing towards the car.

"Fine, but tomorrow, I get to look at this thing, inside and out. How come you didn't drive to school today?" I ask.

"I don't want people to think I am a rich girl." She says.

"But there's no shame in the truth." I say, awaiting her upset reaction.

"I am not!" She yells. Just what I was hoping for.

"Come on! Let's go!" I say, acting like the responsible one. She rolls her eyes and she drives me home in less than a minute.

"Thanks, see you tomorrow?" I ask.

"Definitely! Maybe not on the bus cus of... erm... the issue, but definitely at school! Bye David." And with that she is gone.

I try to be quiet as I enter the house, but waiting at the door is 8 year old Sara. I hold my finger up to my lips, but what does she do? "DAVID'S HOME NOW!!"

"David, where have you been?!" My mom scolds.

"I was hanging out with a friend." I answer. I can tell that she thinks I was out drinking.

"Smell me. I wasn't at a party, I promise." I say.

"I believe you, but you need to tell me where you are... I was worried." She says, hugging me.

I usually don't hug her back. I finally go to the kitchen and look in the fridge to see what I can eat. I don't see anything great, so I just make myself a pizza. I go to my room and do my homework. All I have is some Science homework, and I am good at science. After working on the homework for about 20 minutes, I get really tired. Like I said, I usually only eat when I want to sleep. I go to bed at about 10:40.

It's a new day... Tuesday. I get on the bus. I pass Liza's house, but I see a white Toyota Corolla in the driveway.  That's odd. I ignore it and next, we stop at Gabbie's house. I don't want to talk to her. I don't know what she is going to say, but all I know is that it will be completely contradictory to what Liza said last night. She gets on the bus and the first thing she says is, "What the hell, David?!"

"Good morning to you too..." I say, like a smart ass.

"Don't play dumb with me, why the hell did you get off of the bus with that dumb bitch yesterday?"

"Stop." I say immediately, practically interrupting her. I never interrupt Gabbie because she always gets extremely pissed.

"Why are you defending that hoe?" She says.
