Yeah, this happened

Do you know the book Wonder? Abo it Auggie who has treacher collins syndrome? I don't think I spelled it right but whatever.

So we were watching a video in English class. Kids with the same disease would say "I am Auggie Pullman"

My teacher explained that her cousin had this thing in his thoat, and that he took a deep breath and then spoke really fast. Another guy said that's how I talked. Another guy asked me to say something, and I replied with "Stop talking"

Everyone started talking, and then I heard someone yell out "Amara is Auggie Pullman!" That did not make me feel good. I don't have a disease. I'm my own unique person (a bit weird). I don't hate these kids who have that disease, but it was hurtful to me for someone to basically say that I did.
