I will say this first. This is NOT a werewolf story. This is an actual wolf telling his story. Not a mythical creature. I just thought it would be cool to think in a wolfs mind. Since wolves are often hunted and killed for a cruel game, I want people to think about things. Wolves have families and have feelings too. If they couldn't feel, they wouldn't yelp when you shoot them with a gun, or howl when something happens. I'm putting my heart into this story so please comment, vote, or fan. That would make me uber happy :) I love critisizim so please if you have any ideas i would love them

Wolf knows, wolf known

Chapter 1 the past can never be in the future

I remember a time... A time when things were right, a time... When humans were of no concern. I remember a time when we thrived, but didn't fear death. A

time when I was with the pack, when we easily found prey to sink our teeth into. There was a time when I could stretch my muscles by running forever in the

forest and not accidentally go into the humans territory. There was a time such as that, and now... It's only an unreachable dream.

Present day (put city/town, state here)

The soft underpads of my paws slam against the short even grass as I frantically run for my life against the crazy human man chasing after me. My heart's

beats grow faster and faster by the second as i run out of breath trying to find a safe haven to lose him. I survey as much as I can before my eyes lock on a

shed a few yards ahead. I push my muscles harder, trying to tell them to go faster so that I may escape and eat the savory chicken that is locked in my

powerful jaws. I swerve to the left and jump, coming down with a soft thud on my paws and hide underneath some hay. I wait in panic and a few seconds

later I hear the human angrily say, "daggomit! Where'd 'e go?? I thought I almost had 'em! I swear one o these days I'm gunna catch him and kill him

fersure!" I quietly stayed hidden until I couldn't hear his footsteps to sink my teeth into the flesh of the dead chicken. "This is the first meal in two days" I tell

myself. Before i knew it, all the flesh was gone off of the little creature I had stolen from the humans. "I'm not stealing, I'm just getting back what they have

stolen from me and all of the wolves. They can't possibly believe that they can intrude on our territory, tear down the trees, kill most of the animals, have all

these buildings and we wolves aren't going to do anything, do they?" I mentally fude. I can't believe that I was stupid enough to attack in broad daylight; I

must have been really hungry. I look out of the cracks between the white shed doors and see that night is falling. I better get going. Check ing both ways, I

make sure that no one can see me and sprint off. I only have to run a short ways until I come to a "blocker" As I call them. I jump the wooden blocker with

ease and arrive safely on the other side. When the humans tore down all the trees they had this machine come and plant some new ones, so not all was

lost. The bad part though is that all the trees are in neat and almost perfect lines so I could be easily spotted. Even though I am tired from today's chase I still

have no choice but to keep on running and get as far as possible from the human territory. It feels good to run at night when no one is currently trying to kill

you. I lift my head and stare at the moon in all of it's silvery wonder. I smell the air just in case someone is following but all I can smell is the strong pine and

the neutral air. I crinkle my nose when the pungent odor of the human factories smoke invade my nose. Those stupid humans! Why did they have to ruin my

moment of peace? After hours of nonstop running I finally stop. Up ahead I can see a makeshift home of some trash and leaves. I practically fall down on

the ground from exhaustion. I lay my head on the side, trying not to remember. I soon fall into a light sleep.
